These sleeves are great for sun protection! I was worried about long sleeves being too hot, but they really are lightweight and breezy, particularly in the white color that I ordered. I love how many come in the pack, so I can rotate through them as they get dirty when I work out in them. They're comfortable and cover my entire arms up to where my short sleeved shirt sleeves end. I have small arms, and the sleeves still fit comfortably without sliding down during my usual exercise (walking and gentle jogging). I'm super happy with these for the purpose of sun protection. They do a great job, and they're compact enough to slip in my bag for just in case. These are a great alternative to sunscreen if you're in a hurry or going outside unexpectedly.

I have used other types of UPF arm sleeves in the past and these are my favorite ones I've tried. They have a great amount of stretch to them, which would allow them to fit a broad range of body sizes, men or women. Since they are unisex I was concerned they would be too loose on me since unisex tends to run a bit larger, but they fit perfectly snug and with a good amount of stretch to comfortably fit a larger arm as well. Other types of arm sleeves I've tried in the past can be a bit of a hassle to get on and off; sometimes there is not enough stretch to quickly pull them on, or the finger straps are unnecessarily complicated. But these pull on quickly and easily, and are interchangeable between left and right hands. With my work+driving I need a sleeve I can pull on or off quickly and these are perfect. They are very lightweight, breathable, and dry quickly, as well.

These UV protection sun sleeves are effective, if you drive long hours in the sun and are getting very tan arms. They stretch well for different sizes, but I suppose the further it stretches, the less effective the uv protection.

I'm those type of person who keep forgetting re-apply sunscreen every 2 hours as suggested on all the sunscreen products and dermatologists. So, a pair of sun sleeves would work the best for me. I am so happy that I found this good deal of 5 pairs of sun sleeves which do not only give me sun protection on my arms but also can cool them down a bit under the sun at cost of $18 (at the time of writing this review). Furthermore, I like the plain white color that can easily match with my outfits.
