I have used this in the past from a box. It works well. That said, however, why would the manufacturer say “sprinkle” when it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to “sprinkle”,......UNLESS they had included an inside top with numerous HOLES! I am dumbfounded by this lack of attention to the “dispenser”. It was beastly for my vacuum to clean up after I had “attempted to spread and brush” it into our Oriental carpet. I had ended up dumping a rather disheveled pile. If there is a Next time, I will reach into the canister a spoon and attempt to “sprinkle” while spooning it into a wire seive.🤦♀️ ... show more

I recently purchased this thinking it would help out with the dog smell around the house, however, I accidentally spilled orange soda on the carpet and this claims to remove pet stain so I thought "lets give it a try!" It works wonders! make sure you read the direction thoroughly as you need to scrub the stain, let it sit for 30 min, and then vacuum it. It did such an amazing job at removing the orange stain on my carpet that it actually makes the carpet around the area look disgusting now. My dog likes to pee on the area rug while we’re sleeping despite being let out several times before bed. I’ve tried other cleaners and none of them have worked to get the smell and subsequent stain out. I was ready to throw the rug away until I tried this. Follow the instructions!! This not only got our old stains but the smell of old dog pee is gone! The amount you get for the money is not ideal. Like others said, you can’t really shake it out because it’s just one big opening, but if you follow the directions, it’s easy to cover an entire area rug (5’x8’) with only using 1/4 of the product. ... show more

Saw in a Magazine, and does appear to work for now. The only downside is, as other reviewers have mentioned, there is not a dispenser. So to spot treat as most will do, use a small kitchen sieve and put on the spot and lightly scrub in with a toothbrush. A bit tedious. I left mine overnight after following the directions. After vacuumed, not all the product came up, but appeared better after a few days. I kept just to re-test again, and see if it has holding power. ... show more

I'm a fan of Arm & Hammer carpet powder and was expecting this particular product to perform miracles on those spots on the carpet soiled by my cat Oscar. Like other reviews, the top of the container was poorly designed and risk dumping the whole product in covering only one area. This is no different from the boxed one priced $1.89 or $1.49 at other stores. It's too pricy for one when you can buy 9 or 10 for the listed price.
