Real talk, we have 4 animals. Two cats and two dogs and despite efforts to maintain a clean space, the odors are something we have to contend with. Especially in locations that share space with a litter box. Which is why I purchased this product for my home office that sadly doubles as a cat room. It has made all the difference! The air not only smells better it seems fresher. It is long-lasting as well but after a few weeks the fragrance is starting to subside. But that is a small complaint considering my workspace is literally right next to a litter box. First I'd like to clarify that I'm a big fan of Arm and Hammer. Regarding this product though, I purchased it hoping to reduce the odor in my house as I have one dog and two cats. I ordered the purple lavender and the blue, one each to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened them, smell was amazing! But I honestly can't say it smells amazing in or around the area I placed them. My rooms are large and I thought that if I moved them to the AC closet it would help disbursing the scent and it did not. For my kitty litter closet, I first tried 'Gonzo Natural Magic Odor Air-Magnet'. It did NOT work. It didn't even decrease in volume. Then I tried 'Fresh Wave'. This was better but only partially worked. The smell was still there. Then I tried these 'Deodorizing Gel Beads in Fresh Breeze'. Voila! It really worked 90% for smells. Just one container in a 4' X5' closet. It only lasted about 5 weeks. I imagine 2 jars would work wonders. This is finally the one that worked! ... show more

I have had mixed feelings about these beads, i decided to give these a try as they were affordable and had the best ratings i could find on Amazon. We recently purchased an electric self cleaning kitty litter box, though the bathroom was extensively cleaned thru the years of use that small bathroom still had a tinge of cat smell from my female cat. I bought these in hope it would rid whatever scent of her i couldn’t get out myself, i recieved these opened them up stuck them in the bathroom and voila! Overnight scent be gone! It is now completely gone and the bathroom smells fresh and not like a cat litter! No, this did not work. We put this in our cat’s litter room. They use a litter robot but even then their room can be a bit smelly and I was looking for a good option to minimise the odour. Yes with this up to your nose you can smell it, but after a couple weeks we noticed no change in the smell of their litter room. Honestly, just put an air purifier wherever your cats litter box is. I know they can get spendy, but you don’t need a fancy one. Their litter room immediately smelled of nothing after 24hrs with the air purifier. If this item was more powerful I would say give it a try, but honestly it’s not worth the money. FYI their litter room is essentially the size of a small walk in closet, it’s not a bedroom and this item should’ve definitely been effective in that size of room. ... show more
