However, be aware that if the temperature is too high, it could damage the shade. To clean the fabric on the shade, use a feather duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

The previous owner didn’t have any coverings on these French doors but the afternoon sun was harsh. I had a hard time finding the right width and length for a blackout. Finally! found these. I also wanted shades that when up, had a small profile. And ones that were cordless. I could have gone another 2” on the width, but this works for us since it’s a den and only pulled down to block the sun for a couple of hours. I purchased 2 Roman shades in Navy for the master bedroom & am very happy with how they block the light & the overall style. The color is true navy which is exactly what I needed.
