However, be aware that if the temperature is too high, it could damage the shade. To clean the fabric on the shade, use a feather duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

If you want 100% darkness they need to fit snuggling into your window frame (I probably have 1/8 inch on either side) or you can mount them on the outside of your frame so that it covers the whole area and then some. Super easy to hang once you stop trying to make it hard. Purchased for a front door which is glass on top half and in the evening you could see inside. Used option “wall attach” since I was hanging on a door. It works perfectly. Remember to order about 1.5-2 in wider on both sides so it overlaps the window on the door. I work nightshift and unfortunately all the windows in my room are East facing making it very bright during the hours I'm trying to sleep. I have blackout curtains, but so much light was still coming out from the sides I needed to do something. These roman shades have helped significantly. They are super soft, incredibly easy to hang (did it by myself), and slide perfectly. The room is even darker with the curtains pulled, but I wanted to show how effective they are on their own. Took this these pics at about noon so the sun was really glaring. I also love that the backs are white so you can buy other colors for different rooms and it will still look uniform from the outside. I would buy them again. My only real complaint is that they don't come in more colors! Note: my windows are two different sizes, there is nothing wrong with the shades. That's another reason I'm very happy I found these shades...they haveany sizes to choose from. ... show more

Love the shades, easy to install and they look and work great! Not the problem of the seller, but when my 3 shades arrived, one of the boxes was opened at BOTH ends and the one shade was GONE! When I contacted the seller with this crazy issue, they responded very quickly that they would send out a replacement shade, no problem. Yay! Very responsive and helpful. These roman blinds are terrific! I was a bit skeptical about how they're supposed to move up and down because they're cordless and from what I could see in the pictures from reviews etc, it wasn't clear what the mechanism is that makes them go up and down. Basically you pull them down and to put them up you just grab the bottom and gently push it upwards and it stays put. They look like really well made roman blinds on the inside. Fair warning, per other reviews, they do look a little gross on the outside facing part, but we only pull them down at night so I don't really care what others see from the outside. They are very excellent for blackout blinds, they work well to darken a room. I have 32 inch wide window frames and got the 31.5 inch, so I recommend getting one half inch smaller for perfect fit. Only thing to note is that they are a little bulky up top so if you have a very thin inner space between the actual window and real estate in the window frame to hang them from, you may wind up doing what we did and just hanging them above the window and on the outside part of the frame instead of the inside part. ... show more

These are beautiful shades and were hardly wrinkled coming out of the package. Easy to hang and they definitely block our light, which is what we wanted in our bedroom.
