For an outside mount with this size blind, we recommend your window recess is 24-1/2 to 30-1/2 inches wide to provide optimal light control. All hardware is included.

Arlo Blinds 2-inch Cordless Faux Wood Blinds fit any of your horizontal window treatment needs. The high-quality appearance of the 2-inch wide slats with smooth finish and crown valance improves the appearance of any room. The durable construction allows for placement in high humidity rooms without damaging your blinds and enables easy cleaning by simply dusting or using soap and water. Numerous width and height sizes allow you to have the perfect fit for all of your windows and doors while also creating consistency for one room or an entire home. Moreover, we provide all of the mounting hardware that you need with instructions to make installation a stress-free experience. If you plan to mount on the inside of your window frame, please ensure your windows are at least 3/8 inch wider than the blind size that you purchase and 3 inches in depth for a flush fit with your window frame. Your valance will come 2 inches wider than the width of your blinds so you can either attach the valance over your window for a decorative look or cut it down to fit perfectly on your blind.

The first one I ordered had a small defect (the top, metal base had a 'ding' on it from having been smacked onto something, and it was on the side that is exposed to the room), so I contacted the sellers who promptly sent me a replacement. All the materials appear to be very sturdy and well put together. Installation was fairly easy and it comes with everything you need to install them. I had never used cordless versions before and was a bit worried about how the mechanism works, but it appears to also be sturdy. We don't pull them up/down very often anyway, maybe just a couple of times a year. The only downside, which was not a deal breaker for me, is that the valance can't be installed when these are recessed into the wall frame. I knew that would be the case per other reviews and since I don't have valances on any of my other blinds, I probably wasn't going to install it anyway (had it worked with my type of window). I enjoyed this blind because it has no cords that children could strangle themselves with. To open and close it, it's just like regular blinds, but you lift it or pull it down, too, whether or not you want access to the window.

I have real (and expensive) wood-slat blinds in my home. I ordered 10 of these blinds for an apartment that my daughter lived in. When we installed them, I could not believe how close these look to the real thing. The hardware and mechanism looks top-notch and work smoothly. Unfortunately, one of the blinds had a few damaged slats on it. From the look of the damage, I think it was from the strapping tape that held a batch of blinds together for shipping. I returned the blind and asked for a replacement. Top Blinds was very responsive and sent the new blind, which was perfect. I am very pleased with the product and the customer service. Although the blinds themselves are made of a softer, lighter material than real wood, they look the same, and these are a great find. ... show more

I ordered 3 blinds for our new apartment, they arrived on time with the packaging in good condition. Unfortunately one came with a couple bumps in the back side of the top rail, which didn't impede the blind to go up and down, and since they were on the side that goes to the wall, i decided not to go thru the return process and time, and installed it. The blinds are nice and sturdy however, the instructions that come in the box are impossible to figure out unless you are experienced in installing window blinds. Thanks to youtube, I realized they are actually very easy to install. So my advice to the next buyer with no blind installation experience, throw the instructions in the garbage and go right to youtube for ACTUAL instructions. ... show more

I purchased five blinds after a lot of research. The blinds were easy to install. I had an issue with one blind (a broken piece) and in less than a week, I had replacement. I wasn’t sure if the least expensive was the best path to take, be it was.

    • Measure twice before you order once is an important a real thing

If I would have measured twice I would have had to only order once but instead I had to send it back because it was the perfect width but not the perfect length and then also there were two parts in there that I'm sure it was just a mistake but whoever had the package before me left their old brackets in it so I did have to go out and get new brackets which was a bummer but unfortunately that's how me and kid are now able to use these blinds % goes they are good quality they are the perfect size and I can't wait for my replacement super excited and still a very happy customer and I will use them again in the future thank you for helping get my HOA OFF MY BUTT!! ... show more
