The high-quality appearance of the 2-inch wide slats with smooth finish and crown valance improves the appearance of any room. The durable construction allows for placement in high humidity rooms without damaging your blinds and enables easy cleaning by simply dusting or using soap and water. Numerous width and height sizes allow you to have the perfect fit for all of your windows and doors while also creating consistency for one room or an entire home. Moreover, we provide all of the mounting hardware that you need with instructions to make installation a stress-free experience. If you plan to mount on the inside of your window frame, please ensure your windows are at least 3/8 inch wider than the blind size that you purchase and 3 inches in depth for a flush fit with your window frame. Your valance will come 2 inches wider than the width of your blinds so you can either attach the valance over your window for a decorative look or cut it down to fit perfectly on your blind.

Originally, the first one I got had a crease in the housing at the top, but I thought it was the back so no worries. I was wrong and had it almost up when I realized my error! Had to return it with everything that came with it. 1st make sure you have the front part unmarked or creased. You can easily tell if you look for the wand attachment area on the left which is a small metal insertion point ON THE FRONT of the blind casing. I missed that the first time. 2nd it’s fairly easy to install, kinda makes sense when you study the parts. I did not find the directions very helpful - but they’re a starting point! Couple things: price it right! Let me tell you I was looking at a blind of this size custom costing me $300+. So for the very same look (they look like painted real wood), I got this for $85. That’s a deal! Company was great about the return (no problems) AND the replacement came and it was flawless! I know they say to go a half an inch smaller but I did not. MINE was RIGHT ON THE EDGE I was 1/8” smaller than the 1/2” requirement. I took the risk - it was tight but what I did was got FLATTER SCREW HEADS! See my pics Old vs New. I also drilled the holes into my winding surround area with a slighter narrower drill bit but I made sure it was more than deep enough so I didn’t strip the screw heads. It went in perfectly - it was tight but went in with a little encouragement. I wanted total blackout so this was important for me. Needless to say, I love these blinds and am going to order 2 more in this size and several smaller ones as I just love the look from the outside and inside! ... show more

I had the standard Venetian blinds in my room but it was quite old as it came with the house. Between the age and my cat, I needed a replacement. These blinds are a significantly better option. Not only does it feel sturdy, it was easy to install. I had two windows to install. Took me a little over an hour to do the two windows inside mount by myself (never removed/installed blinds before so it felt like there was a bit of a learning curve). Overall, the blinds look great. I like it the thickness of the blinds as it blocks far more light than my prior plastic Venetian blinds. Now, there's no cord for my cat to play with and damage! ... show more

Anybody who has had kittens KNOWS what they can do. Take a look at what they did to my bathroom blinds. Now the neighbors can see me pee! I stuck a board in the window and quickly ordered these blinds. Now I gave 4 stars because these instructions were not written for a woman. They were easy to hang and look great. Time will tell of any sagging issues arise. Would give 5 star but came with broken end peice. Hopefully they will replace it. Edit: the seller sent new parts. The last picture. Very honorable and I'm solid happy 5 stars. Thank you!!!

The blinds look great on the windows. We are redecorating a mid century house and wanted blinds instead of curtains. The fit was accurate and we measured 1/2 inch less on each side than the window. This worked perfectly. Warning - the valances are a bit flimsy and side pieces easy to break.

The first one I ordered had a small defect (the top, metal base had a 'ding' on it from having been smacked onto something, and it was on the side that is exposed to the room), so I contacted the sellers who promptly sent me a replacement. All the materials appear to be very sturdy and well put together. Installation was fairly easy and it comes with everything you need to install them. I had never used cordless versions before and was a bit worried about how the mechanism works, but it appears to also be sturdy. We don't pull them up/down very often anyway, maybe just a couple of times a year. The only downside, which was not a deal breaker for me, is that the valance can't be installed when these are recessed into the wall frame. I knew that would be the case per other reviews and since I don't have valances on any of my other blinds, I probably wasn't going to install it anyway (had it worked with my type of window).
