The high heat-resistant Duratread outsole is oil- and slip-resistant and passes hot contact tests at 300°C/572°F. Equipped with ATS technology for ergonomic support and a removable All Day Cushioning insole, this men’s work boot ensures comfort on uneven terrain. This is my second pair of Ariat Square toed steel toe work boots. My last pair followed me through 3 jobs spanning a few years as a commercial service technician. I loved the boots and wore them 7 days a week for about 2 years solid. They were not only functional, they were also very fashionable and I rarely wore anything else on my feet. The only reason I've ordered this second pair of boots is because I ended up in a hole digging up a leaking diesel fuel line and my original boots ended up soaking up the fuel and they stink. I'll keep them around for doing nasty work but it's time to break in these new ones. They seem to be fitting true to size and they seem to be crafted just as fine as my fist pair. ... show more

I’ve had 3 pairs of these boots over the last 4 years. I am a diesel mechanic so I put them under some serious use. I can get about a year out of them before I have to get a new pair. This is due to the inside of the boot falling apart and the leather rips at the steel toe. I think they are comfortable and obviously I think they are worth the money as I have bought 3 pairs. My feet bother me after working construction all day for 35 years now. Thought I would try a slip on boot and see if I could find some relief. I've tried every insole, many different boots - some cheap some spendy. These boots fit like a glove, nice and snug with no pressure on my toes. If you wear thick socks you might want to go a half size up. And they look good, I highly recommend. ... show more

I’ve purchased these boots a few time. Great boots I do welding and work on steam systems a lot of the areas I’m in are high heat areas and the boots hold up great and when standing on steam lines, the sole of the boots haven’t cooked like other boots I’ve used highly recommended these boots. Make my feet bleed. Ordered a 10 Wide. On every other pair of ARIAT’S, a size Wide =10 D. / So instead of paying for and receiving a 10D, I received a 10EE. - I was really hoping I wouldn’t half to return these, because I needed them for work, like right away. Honestly, I really thought that I could break these in or purchase Ariat inserts if need be; however, There is no solution when you received the wrong size. Especially when they are steel toed Boots, i’ve tried every trick in the book. Nothing helped. I have tried literally everything. Nothing can get these things comfortable. - I couldn’t even wear them for 15 minutes the first day of working in these. There is no solution when you've received the wrong size, and the company refuses to listen or try to make it right. No comfort. Not tight, but not lose / ALL WRONG. Especially when they are steel toed I have tried literally everything. Nothing can get these things comfortable. I have done multiple tricks / nothing works.. BLISTER CITY. AND I’m the Mayor. NOW THERES PROBABLY NO WAY OF RETURNING THEM. - THESE ARE WAY TOO WIDE- I should have received a 10D. Not a 10EE. These things crush both feet. Blisters on the tops. Sides. And bottoms of both feet. Even with inserts. & or the arch inserts, just make it worse. I have a cheaper pair / non steel toe / with a better thicker & way more stronger sole...? So...? The sole these come with is a joke. They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thin, They are Thinner than tennis shoe soles. The metatarsal area, (Tops) of both feet, touch and rub on the top and sides of the boot and the SteelToe- Honestly, I wore these into a nearby western store, And multiple people assured me that when you order a 10 wide it is 10 D. 10 EE is extra wide or extra extra wide. They are also already torn up and I don’t even really wear them now because I can’t; therefore, I don’t think these are “REAL” ARIAT’s. I literally only wear Ariat Boots. I CANNOT wear these to work. / Useless waste of money. ... show more

Good fit from the first day. Hard to find a square steel toe. I like the extra room you get in the toe. I wear a thick sock for more cushioning. I put in a average 12hr day all on my feet and on concrete. I will check back in a few to tell you how they are holding up

These boots are the next best thing to wearing tennis shoes as far as being comfortable. I work in a weld shop and steel toe boots are required. I would recommend going to a actual boot store and measuring your foot before ordering online. I had originally bought my first pair at a store 30 miles from my house. However with my work schedule, I don't always have time to drive 30 minutes for work boots. The boots'serial number is located on the inside of the boot and I was able to type it into the search box and it pulled the same style and size as my original pair. Also Amazon has the Ariat inserts for these boots so that when it comes time to order a replacement for your boots you can do it on here as well. When wearing a round toe boot, my pinky toe would endure a lot of pain because I have wide feet. I wear a size 12 round toe boot. However with square toe you will actually go down one size. It's the width I would recommend getting a measurement for. Plus with square toe, I can completely stretch my toes and wiggle them. The breaking-in of these boots are painless as well. Usually work boots it takes a few weeks to break them before they are comfortable. That's not the case with these. I'm on my feet in these boots 10 - 12 hours/ day. ... show more
