Description

All-round footwear blending modern technology and a vintage style, this pair of durable Men’s Workhog Pull-on Boots from Ariat are a great choice for those hardworking individuals who love the country. Featuring the classic cowboy- inspired shaft embroidery and brogue details on the vamp, the boots will complement any work ensemble. Their ATS Max platform provides maximum torsional stability for reduction of foot fatigue and proper body alignment. For ease of entry, they have the patent-pending U-Turn Entry System. These western boots for men are equipped with a Duratread outsole for the ultimate combination of comfort and durability. The outsole is oil- and abrasion- resistant which gives long-lasting durability and maximum grip on most surfaces. The round-toe will protect your toe from injuries due to impacts. Ariat is celebrated for their high-caliber workboots and the Workhog style shows us why. The solid design features a full-grain leather upper and Goodyear welting for superior quality, while the Duratread outsole is self- cleaning and non-tracking. The stability chassis encourages an anatomically correct step and the composite toe complies with ASTM F2413-05 M/1/75 C/75 EH. P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Ariat was founded with one simple objective: to provide the most technologically advanced riding boots for the world's top equestrian athletes. Today, Ariat is the leading performance footwear and apparel brand for equestrian athletes around the world. From show jumping to team penning, Ariat boots provide the foundation upon which world-class athletes work, ride, and compete. See more

  • Ohhh man
Size: 10.5 Color: Aged Bark/Army Green
These boots are a breath of fresh air. I came into these from a pair of Georgia loggers and let me just say, there is no comparison. This is a top notch boot, from A to Z. First, the break in. I walk 3mi each and every weekday; that is 15mi a week. These boots were never very hard on my heels or feet, but they did rub while the broke in. This pair took 1 week, or 15mi, to break in about 90%. I did get a couple blisters, but nothing bad or painful. After the first week, the second was just a little more stretching to perfectly fit my foot. Overall I give the break-in 4of5 stars. Next is the comfort. This boot has it! A very soft insole is included. I usually buy an aftermarket insole because the included ones are usually pretty full of suck; that is not the case for this Ariat. I gotta say though, I don't think it is the soft insole that makes this boot so comfy. I literally feel like my step is corrected to near perfection when I walk. Not really sure how else to explain it, but everything just feels right. This effect is so desirable that I am probably a life-time customer now as a result of just that factor. My guess is that this feeling is the result of that carbon-fiber forked shank and a new design on the outsole, combined with the EVA mid. Toughness is so far so good. the full grain leather will scuff easy, but that should be expected. It does work into a fantastic looking piece of leather over time. All the stitching is rock solid so far with no signs of wear. The sole is dirty, but not worn down. Just a hunch, but I think this sole is going to have to be replaced in 6mo or so; it doesn't seem to me to be tough enough, but I could be wrong. Overall, I would instantly, without question, buy this boot again and will do so if I ever need to. I'm very glad my friend wasn't able to successfully talk me into a pair of Justins; these are exactly what I want in a boot. ... show more

  • Outstanding Boot!
Size: 11.5 Color: Aged Bark/Army Green
I have only been wearing these for 3 days but wow. I bought these boots to replace a pair of Dr. Marteens which actually may have a better slip resistant sole but not nearly as comfortable after over 1 year of wear as these were right out of the box. Very comfortable boots and it does feel like they may be correcting a slight outside over-rotation in my ankles. I order a 1/2 size larger than normal because I was concerned with the tapered toe which has worked out well as I have enough room without feeling they are too big or dangling on my feet. The composite toe is nice and light as well. I did not get the waterproof model but I have been wearing these in the rain and so far my feet have been dry. The leather does scuff easily but that will be resolved after I go over them with saddle soap a time or two. Overall, the best pair of boots I have owned in the past 16 years. ... show more

  • Buy 1/2 a size up, great boots
Size: 10.5 Color: Aged Bark/Army Green
I usually wear a size 10 or 10.5 depending on shoe or boot brand. Due to the composite toe in these boots I chose 10.5. The boots fit a bit tight when I put them on right out of the box, but within an hour they had stretched a bit and the fit is great! This is my second pair after buying the same style about 2 years ago. The other pair is still in great condition, just a bit soiled from hiking and hunting. ... show more

  • Love these boots
Size: 12 Wide Color: Aged Bark/Army Green
These boots are just what I wanted. Great to wear with jeans. They arrived scuffed which is no big deal because they will get scuffed eventually but it was just a little surprising. I think their new but they could be someone else return. Bottom line - it’s well made comfortable boot

  • Awesome boots
Size: 10.5 Color: Aged Bark/Army Green
I have been working in construction for 20 year’s plus and have always had to either replace boots every year but these are the best investment in work boots I have ever made. They are comfortable and my feet don’t hurt after a 10 to 12 hour day and I use to have to wear corn pads but since I bought these boots I no longer need them. AWESOME boots. By the way I own 3 pairs. Also wear them on the weekend. ... show more

  • Awesome Boots!
Size: 13 Narrow Color: Aged Bark/Army Green
I have narrow feet, and love slip on boots as a machinist, they never have nasty laces from coolant, cutting oil, and chips. Finding narrow slip ons is another matter, thank you Ariat for this offering because, for us with narrow feet the companies that offer narrow boots is even narrower. Boots fit as expected, Shoebacca is a good outfit to deal with, thank you to Shoebacca as well for offering a boot that fits, my local Ariat dealers won’t even special order them for me, I will be back next year for another pair. :-) ... show more

  • does not run true to size, caveat emptor
Size: 10.5 Color: Aged Bark/Army Green
I have another pair of ariats that are the same size and style. They are the most comfortable work boots I have ever owned. My feet felt great, even when on a 7 day 12 hour schedule. I was really excited to get a new pair to add to my rotation. When I put this pair on, I knew deep inside that something wasn't right. My feet felt like they were being squeezed in a vise. Still hopeful, I figured I would wear thinner socks than normal and the boots would stretch. Nope. After one day, my feet were destroyed to point where I was limping. Additionally, my right foot had a nasty blister. It was so bad, as soon as I cleared the exit gate at the plant, they came off and I gleefully walked barefoot across the gravel parking lot to my car. Needless to say, these are going back. Would I buy ariat again? Absolutely. Would I buy the exact same model and size as a previous pair online? Hell no. Go to a brick and mortar store and find a pair that fits, don't rely on the idea that the manufacturer is consistent. ... show more
