This is my second time in 2 years buying this exact boot and the only reason I had to buy a new pair is because I had to move to a EE wide. The old pair, at almost 2 years old, is still in perfect shape. The sole is glued on rather than stitched, and I usually prefer stitched soles, but I don't have any separation on my old pair, at all. IMO, these boots are solidly constructed, and comfy out of the box with minimal break-in required. After about a month, I coat them in mink oil, it darkens them some but protects them well during snowy Detroit winters. And if you're on the fence, the Prime Try Before You Buy program will give you a week to try them before you have to commit to the purchase. That way you don't have to come out of pocket until you know for sure these are the boots for you. The pictures I included are after a couple of weeks of wear. I also threw my favorite mink oil in there in case it helps. And as a side note, the sizing ran a bit small on my last pair so I went up a half size this time. I usually wear a 10 in Timberland and Wolverine boots, but I needed a 10.5 in these boots. But YMMV.

It's hard for my husband to find something that will fit and be comfy as he is 2 different sizes but these are comfortable and not wearing down super fast like most boots do.

Doesn't come in size 12.5, had to go with a 13 as usual. As expected it fits a little long but nothing I'm not used to. As for the width the regular size was too snug I had to reorder a wide which fits like a regular. The boots are great, if I could change one thing it would be the thickness of the tongue as it is difficult to tuck it and to the sides when tying the boot off other than that it's great boot I'll probably buy it again

I work new construction, anywhere from pavement to stairs, gravel and heavy equipment. 10hr. shifts are no problem in this super comfortable boots that are definitely water proof.buying another pair as back up. We'll worthy the money.

I wanted to wait for a month or 2 before I reviewed so I could more fairly evaluate. These boots do not disappoint. Light on the feet, but feel sturdy. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone, regardless of whatever work/ play you're doing.

Love Ariats, these boots are comfortable and seem to be waterproof as advertised. My only gripe is that (especially when cold) they are a little too noisy on concrete due to the hard sole material. Would be five star if not for the noise.
