I'm on my feet on concrete floors all day at work, with heavy equipment hitting my feet throughout the day. These boots are incredibly comfortable, durable, and frankly, they look sharp. I've gotten many compliments on my "nice boots," and even though my priority was to get boots that protect my feet and reduce the fatigue I feel in my joints at the end of the work day, which these boots definitely accomplish better than any other footwear I've ever owned, I also appreciate the quality that is apparent in every aspect of them. When I wear these out after years of use and abuse, I'll definitely be buying another pair. Well worth the money!

As my headline says, these boots are easily the most comfortable I've ever worn. Very surprising. Usually, the first thing I do with a new pair of work boots is take out the insoles and replace them with one from Dr. Scholl or similar brand. No need to with this pair. The padding of the insole is more than sufficient. But more than just the insole, the entire boot is remarkably comfortable and didn't take any time at all to break in. I've purchased most of my work boots from Wolverine and it normally takes a week or two for the boots to break in and get comfortable. Not the case with these Ariat boots. They've been perfect from the first second I put them on. As for sizing, they seem to run ever-so-slightly big, not enough for one to change the size they would normally order, but be aware that there may be just a little more room in the Ariat boots. Of course, the most important measure of any work boot is durability. After a little more than two months, they are holding up remarkably well. If I remember, I'll re-visit this review in a few months with an update. For now, Ariat has found a lifelong customer.

the last set i bought in person to try on, they lasted me two years before i had to get these. the pads that are inside from the factory do wonders for my feet so i’ve never had to use any additional padding. the water proofing is great, works all the way up to the top of the boot itself, i just have one complaint; the laces don’t seem to last longer than a month or two. not a big deal, they’re easy to replace but the stock ones just aren’t very durable

Complaint 1: I’ve tried multiple sizes. The seam at the top of the heel cup ends up right on my heel which will lead to blisters and ruining the shoe. If I remove the cushioned sole, my heal sits down lower below the seam where it should be but I can’t find a sole thin enough to replace the one it came with. Complaint 2: The lower hook eyelets dig into my foot when the shoe is tied. I really wanted to like these boots because they look good, they’re durable, and the inner liner is a really nice anti abrasive moisture wicking material that I have had before. But the two issues I listed above are bad enough that I can’t wear them.
