The media could not be loaded. These solar lights are so cool! They only have 1 step to put them together so assembly Is quick and easy. There Is an on off switch so once assembled they need to be turned to on. There is an adjustable solar panel that absorbs the sun's rays during the day and once it gets dark automatically comes on. The battery can work all night, between 10-12 hours. These lights are so cool! They look like little fireflies. There are 4 solar lights and these make a nice addition to any yard, garden, walkway or outdoor space. Love these! ... show more

Quick and easy install, charges quickly in the sunlight. Does seem like it is made on the cheap side though... we'll update if the stop working. Otherwise they look great and add light to our dark walk way!

    • Well designed, fun item
I wasn't sure exactly where to put the Solar Powered Firefly Lights, but once they arrived, I found the perfect place. I was surprised by their size. Frequently online purchases turn out to be much smaller than expected, in this case, the Firefly lights are actually larger than I expected. And that turned out to be a good thing. The other pleasant surprise is the quality of the lights, they seem to be very well made and I expect them to stand up to the harsh conditions of the outdoors. The mounting posts are quite long and made of a fairly thick gauge of metal. Their hard plastic arrow-point tips made them easy to sink into the ground. When I first placed them in my front yard, outlining a stone raised bed, I wasn't all that happy with how they looked. The lights were all bunched together. Then I checked out the product information online and found that the "stems" of the lights are adjustable. You can bend them around a bit to separate the lights. This made a huge difference for me in their overall appearance. I turned on the switches on all the lights and waited to see what happened after dark. When the lights came on, I was very impressed. They did indeed sway in the wind and created sort of a magical atmosphere. The lights came on at dark even though they were fairly near one of my porch lights. I was afraid the porch light might fool the Firefly light sensor into thinking it didn't need to come on, but that was not the case. The lights came on about 5:30pm and two of the four were still on when my wife got the newspaper at almost 7 the next morning. I don't know if the two unlit ones had exhausted their battery charge or if they weren't on because of ambient light. Either way, that was pretty impressive performance. I was pleasantly surprised when I first began buying these firefly lights. I love the tiny little fairy "fireworks" lights that look like clouds of tiny stars, but these are just as charming and interesting. For my "midnight garden" I needed a lot of different shapes and textures but a similar temperature in light. These were a little more on the amber side than a lot of the more whitish-yellow-colored ones so I wasn't as happy with the color, but they are bright, they charge all day and stay lit for 5-6 hours at night. ... show more

I really love these lights! I gifted them to my parents and they couldn't be happier and I couldn't be more sad, because I wish I had kept them for myself. I'll just have to buy more. :-) They are easy to assemble and turn on, and they give off this mesmerizing yellow glow at night. I love how they sway in the wind and I found myself watching them move around in the darkness. They don't need much wind to get them moving, which I like, and they really "dance" in high wind which my parent's get a lot of in Colorado. I like how they come on at dusk and turn off in the morning too so they prolong the battery life and there is no adjustments needed as the seasons change and days get longer and shorter. I wasn't expecting these to be such a hit, but they are. I am genuinely impressed. My only concern is how they'll hold up in winter here. Only time will tell how they hold up in snow, but I'll update my review if there are any issues that arise. ... show more

These fairy lights are adorable! They arrived nicely packaged, arrived as a (4) pack and were undamaged. They were easy to assembled and the solar sensor is required to charge 4-6 hours in the sun before being charged for lighting. I plan to put them in a more leafy area as I feel this is where they really belong. But, for review purposes I wanted to show how they actually look. The light that is emitted is a very warm, soft light and while there is a small amount of light given off, they are not to be used to light a walking path. The stems are bendable and can be formed around your garden greens. The effect is fun and pretty. I am very pleased with these and plan to purchase more. ... show more
