  • ARES WING has really stepped quality with this quality, wide, dual monitor, with USB connectors.
Color: Black with USB Size: with 21'' Pole
I needed to step up to a dual monitor arm, and ARES WING has really stepped up the quality here. The directions are clearly documented and easy to follow. The parts are all clearly labeled. Pieces all fit together with no problems. The quality really stands out. Even the stop collars have nylon caps on the set screws so the main support rod does not get any scratches from installing, tightening them, or relocating them as needed. This is really attention to detail, and I'm glad they added these. To adjust the nylon caps, I found I had to put my finger on the inside of the collar and slightly turn the set screw out until the nylon pad was flush with the inside of the collar. The collar is a precise fit on the rod, and setting the nylon washer flush was required to allow it to slide on. All in all, it only took a few minutes to set this up and install the monitors. The USB cables in the base are very handy, easy to install, and fit perfectly. There are cable guides in several places on these arms that channel the cables to the PC in a very nice and professional manner. I do need to pick up some longer cables for the monitors and monitor power supply to get them all to fit, but this will pay off with a impressive stable performance of the monitors and cables. The next step is to adjust the tension for monitors. There is a big Allen wrench included and clear labels on the arm where the tension is adjusted. It takes a lot of hand pressure to adjust this tension. At first I thought it was stuck but after pushing harder with my hand, it did adjust. For a 32-inch monitor, the tension was already perfectly set. It easily rises and pushes down and stays in place. Very nice. Works just like I had hoped. For a 24-inch monitor, I did have to reduce the tension. It took a full 3/4 turn. It is working perfectly now. Once tension is set, it doesn't need to be adjusted again. Everything is working great. There are other set screws for tension on other joints, like for tilt or swivel, and they are all easy to adjust. Many of the set screws are hex head, and an Allen wrench is included to adjust them. Some set screws are not hex heads; instead, they are slotted heads, but they included the appropriate wrench to adjust these if required. This dual monitor arm has a lot of versatility. It supports both large and small monitors. In my case, a 24-inch and a 32-inch. Monitor movement is smooth and stable. The height and angles are flexible and easy to adjust. The tension can be set to perfectly match my requirements. I can highly recommend this monitor mount. It is very high quality and impressive to use. It gives me the most I can get out of my monitors. ... show more

  • Great adjustable dual monitor mount!
Color: Black with USB Size: with 21'' Pole
I had been thinking about upgrading my monitor setup for the longest time, and I finally decided to do it using this dual monitor mount. I'm pleased to say that it was a great decision, and this monitor mount is fantastic! For context, I'm using a 27" flat monitor and a 32" curved monitor. Both possess 100x100mm VESA mount holes, so they were compatible with this mount. I have more details below for those interested, but overall, this is a great monitor mount with gas springs for easy, on-the-fly repositioning. Installation was straightforward thanks to the thorough instructions provided, but it took a bit of time due to my specific desk setup and the fact that I was working alone. This mount can attach to a desk via grommet or with a clamp, and since my desk doesn't have a hole and I didn't want to drill one, I opted for the clamp method. It's tight, strong, and stable, so no worries there. The base has cutouts so you can incorporate the provided USB-A and USB-C cables into it, meaning you have a convenient USB-A port on one side and a USB-C port on the other! Super cool and quite handy. Keep in mind these ports are designed for data transfer and not charging, unless you plug them into an outlet using a USB wall plug instead of into your PC. Once you get to the monitor arms, make sure you follow the instructions carefully so you don't forget to do something. I didn't run into any issues following them, but I'll provide some tips here from my experience installing this. If your desk is up against the wall like mine is, you need to plan out how the arms will bend to obtain the optimal monitor position without sticking too far across your desk. Especially for larger/heavier monitors, having the center of gravity too far out from the base will put more stress on the mount. I tried to minimize this by folding half of the arm as close to the wall as possible, and then keeping the other half with the gas spring fairly close to the base pole. You also need to plan ahead in determining where the arms should be mounted on the base pole, based on your monitors' sizes and how you intend to orient them. The gas springs give you some flexibility in positioning, but I wanted the arms to be as neutral as possible at my optimal position, so that way I can make those lesser adjustments easily via the gas springs as needed. Speaking of the gas springs, they work exceptionally well. There's an allen key slot for adjusting gas spring tension, and by default they were tuned for medium weight monitors. I had to loosen it considerably for my smaller monitor, and tighten it a bit for my larger monitor. Once properly tuned, they hold position perfectly and are easy to move up or down. So awesome. There's also special slots for the allen keys on the cable clamp for the base pole, meaning I don't lose them and can adjust tension in the future very easily. Once everything was done, I thought about using the built-in cable channels to make it all look neat behind the monitors, but since my desk is up against the wall, none of it is visible so I left the cables hanging out. Plus, I don't plan on moving the monitors that far, so I'm not worried about the cables getting in the way or getting pulled. I can make small movements without issue, and I left enough slack in case I want to make larger movements. All in all, my desk looks so much cleaner now, I have more space, and I can easily adjust my monitors' positions depending on where I'm sitting or standing. This mount is fantastic! Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Premium priced quality dual arm mount.
Color: Black with USB Size: with 21'' Pole
Please see my disclaimer for Vine provided items at the end of this review. This dual monitor mount from Ares Wing is a quality product. Fit and finish is good. The appearance is more of an understated simple look that will blend in perfectly fine in a professional environment. The arms have a good amount of range and adjustment for many setups. There are of course limitations, as there are with any dual arm on a single mount pole. The USB ports built into the base are a nice way to give easy access to USB connections, while keeping desk clutter to a minimum. Do note that the USB-C port is only USB-C in shape. The cable provided to connect the USB-C port to your device has USB-A on the input side. So this will only allow 5v-2A power for the connected device. Overall a nice dual monitor mount. Price is a little high, but that is usually the case with Ares Wing products. Your call if the design aesthetics and features are worth the price. • No issues supporting both 40" TV & 32" monitor. Smaller clamp base takes up less desk space
Color: Black with USB Size: with 21'' Pole
I've had the opportunity to review several Ares Wing monitor arms recently, and I've found each of them to be more than strong enough for most monitors, as they've all held up even my 40" TV with no issues. This is one of their more heavy duty dual arm mounts and it allows the arms to be positioned at any height along a single pole. This pole design adds a lot of extra height for both arms and it's the best option when planning to stack monitors vertically. As with the other arms, I first tested one of the arms weight bearing capacity with an older 40" TV which is one of the heavier monitors/TVs I own at over 22lbs, and it held up just fine with no issues. I then added another fairly heavy 32" monitor to the other arm, and the mount had no trouble supporting both displays. I did have to increase the tension quite a bit on both arms, but there were still plenty of turns left by the time I got the tension just right. At this point, I was more concerned about the fairly thin MDF desk the mount was clamped to than the arms themselves. By far the best tip I can think of when installing this mount is to make sure you have the exact spot on the desk where you want to clamp it before installing the main pole and the arms. This mount has a unique clamp where the main bolt for the clamp is inside the clamp itself, so it's accessible only after removing the main pole, which can be a lot of extra work when trying to reposition the clamp after you've installed the pole and the arms. As with their other arms, this uses the same quick release VESA mounting plate system with a thumbscrew. With this , I'm able to put up and take down monitors in just a few seconds without any tools. One thing to be especially cautious about when taking down a monitor from this or any other monitor arm is to always raise the arm to its maximum height first, and never remove a monitor with the arm lowered, as the arm will suddenly spring up when the weight is removed and potentially hit you with a lot of force. One other thing that I really like about this mount is that this is the only Ares Wing model I've reviewed that includes a full protective padding layer on both the top and bottom sides of the clamp. All the other ones only had protection on the top side of the clamp with the bottom side left bare metal, which could potentially damage the underside of a desk. This one protects both surfaces of my desk. I also like that because both arms are mounted to a single pole, the clamp base on this has a much smaller footprint, which is great since it doesn't eat up much desk space. ... show more

  • Amazing monitor mount
Color: Black with USB Size: with 21'' Pole
First off, I wanna say, I love Ares Wing. I've a few things of theirs in my studios, and they ROCK. In my studio setup, I’ve been rotating through a few heavy duty monitor arm systems, and this dual arm pole style mount has ended up being one of the more capable ones I’ve used for larger displays. The single vertical pole design gives a lot of flexibility in height, which makes it especially useful for stacking or vertically aligning screens in a tighter creative workspace where desk real estate matters. Before committing to it in my actual layout, I tested the load support using a heavier 40 inch display along with a second 32 inch monitor, and both held without any stability issues. After dialing in the tension on both arms, everything stayed firmly in place without drifting, and the mount felt more limited by the desk surface than by the arms themselves. Once positioned, the movement is controlled but smooth, which makes fine adjustments easy without constantly losing alignment. From an installation standpoint, the biggest thing I learned is that placement on the desk should be decided very carefully before locking anything in, because the clamp design makes repositioning more involved once the pole is installed. After setup though, it becomes very convenient thanks to the quick release mounting plates, which let me swap displays quickly without tools. I also appreciate the added padding on both contact points of the clamp, which gives me more confidence using it on studio furniture, and the compact base footprint helps keep more usable workspace open around the setup. ... show more

ARES WING Tall Vertical Dual Ultrawide Monitor Mount with USB for 17-49'' Screen, Holds 44 Lbs, Computer Arms for 2 Screens with Gas Spring, Adjustable Double Monitor Stand for Desk, Black Only took a few minutes for me to hook this up. the instructions were simple to follow. Product is very sturdy and easy to maneuver around to make the monitors stay in place that I wanted. The area where the unit is based on has to be very solid because the weight of the unit and monitors will rest on this one spot. it does come with options of having USB connections at the base of the unit. It does seem convenient, but I choose not to use it because more of the stuff I have are wireless. Overall I am very satisfied with this unit. ... show more

  • good quality, but pricy
Color: Black with USB Size: with 21'' Pole
This dual monitor arm feels very solid and heavy duty. I like the single pole design because it gives more flexibility for stacking monitors vertically and doesn't take much desk space. The arms move smoothly, hold both monitors securely, and stay in place once adjusted. Installation was straightforward, and the quick-release VESA mounts make attaching or removing a monitor very easy. I also like that it has a built-in USB port, which is convenient for charging my phone or headphones. The only downside for me is the price, it feels a bit expensive, but the quality is definitely there. ... show more

  • We Now Have the Perfect Setup
Color: Black with USB Size: with 21'' Pole
We’re excited to share that we’ve added a second 27-inch monitor to our Customer Service Desk! We looked into different setup options, and since our desk is a cozy 60-inch size, placing the monitors side-by-side might have been a bit tight—plus, passersby could accidentally bump into the right monitor, which is away from the wall. That’s why we chose the over- and under-monitor mount as our top option. Setting it up was a breeze with Windows 11—just a simple visual dragging of Monitor #1 onto Monitor #2, and everything was ready to go. We then mounted the arms on the back of each monitor and adjusted them to the perfect position. Once everything was securely in place, it was quick to select the primary monitor in Windows 11’s settings. We’ve been using this two-monitor setup for about a month now, and it’s been holding steady without any drooping. Plus, the arm includes a USB outlet, which is super handy for our wired keyboard and helps keep all the cables neat and the desk clutter-free. This setup has truly been the perfect solution for making the most of our small desk space. ... show more
