I don't have a baby, but you don't need one to use this. Besides being a baby monitor, you can use this as a security camera for a myriad of scenarios, such as: 1) For your elderly parent(s) 2) For your pet(s) 3) For your front door 4) For your backyard 5) For your garage 6) For anywhere that your WiFi can reach For me, I really love that the video unit is included, as it makes things so much more convenient and versatile. Yes, you can check with your phone through the product's app, as you can do with 99% of all security cameras. But having a physical/tangible screen somewhere you can just look at, plays a big part in the peace of mind, and makes you consciously use it more. With your phone, you have to bring it out/up, open the app, and connect to your camera. That's several steps you have to consciously think about and do, while having this screen on a wall or countertop, you just steal a glance at it. It's so easy to use, since it's just always there, and always on. After the $30 coupon, the current price comes out to $130 plus tax, and I think that's a good value for what you are getting. Totally recommended, especially for using it as peace of mind for your baby, elderly, or pet.

There are 2 divided schools of "baby monitor" thought. The Wifi/Cellphone route, or the "dedicated monitor" route. Each has its plusses and minuses, honestly. But...what if you didn't have to choose? What if you could have both? And that's why the ARENTI baby monitor is so awesome. It gives you the choice about how you want to connect. And both ways work great, btw, but I'm not an "app" person, I prefer the monitor. That this succeeds in "serving 2 masters" is quite impressive. Usually, when something tries to do everything, it ends up doing nothing particularly well. But this works fine at either, so YAY! The only...I don't want to say negative thing because, it's just kind of...odd...but it reminds me more of a Jawa (from "Star Wars") with bunny ears than an actual bunny. Maybe it's just me.. Regardless of what the Jawa bunny looks like, the monitor is great, and what I love most about it, is that it works great, AND that it gives you options. That's always worth a look in my book. 5 stars.

We love our new baby monitor as this is the first camera monitor with an application we have owned. The look of the camera is so cute and comes with a seperate video monitor and we have also downloaded the app. This monitor really has so many cool features, there is two way voice control so you can speak to your child through the monitor and you can also change the sound of your voice as there are two seperate options. There are about 20 lullabys you can choose from to play in your childs room. You can also change the lighting on the camera and the colors in the camera. Finally, you can enable the settings to detect when there is sound and movement. I was always hesitant to get a minior with wifi for several but let me tell you I am beyond happy with the monitor and will be using it well into the future.

I got this for my baby (Corgi), and it works great. What I really like is that this can be connected to Wifi or directly to the monitor. I think this is great because there have been times when my wifi goes down. Knowing I can still look in on my Corgi in those situations is a comfort.

Can’t say enough good things about this! I love that I can move it side to side and up and down to see everything that I need to see when it comes to my kiddos. The sound and picture are phenomenal. We haven't actually set up this camera yet so I cannot speak to the functionality of it. But I can tell you that it comes with everything you need to set it up. The ARENTI Upgraded Smart Baby Monitor is pretty awesome. It came nicely packaged, easy to set up and start monitoring. The picture and video quality is pretty good as well. Best part the camera and monitor can record... You will need a micro sd card for both devices though. Very discrete camera and functionality is very easy to use... Nice product, 5 Stars from us!!!
