I was the talk of the river! We went for a group tubing trip and everyone on the river got a great kick out of watching me paddle the tube around. I ended up motoring a bunch of my friend's flotilla's away from obstacles and got a good workout. I don't LOVE the rubber tubing method for attaching them to your hands. Maybe a velcro strap would work better? But the tubing does give you lots of customizable options! ... show more

I've used hand paddles before and didn't like them, but the Vortex Evolution Hand Paddles are very nice. They are comfortable and feel natural. Swimming without them is like biking in a low gear while using them is like biking in a high gear. It really allows me to focus on my form.
