First of all, I didn’t realize this was a nightgown when I bought it, lol, but luckily, no one has been any the wiser so woo! Some people have said that they don’t like the pockets because they think it makes them look boxy, but I reckon this is purely a body shape/personal taste thing because I am quite hippy but I think the pockets help give the illusion that my waist is smaller so I don’t hate it! Because of the material, anything in the pockets does stick out or like, if your phone is particularly heavy, it will pull the dress down. So that’s why I’m docking a star but despite the appearance, the functionality has been quite useful when I need both hands for something. I also bought my regular size, which fits fine, but I think I would order a size down if I ordered it again because of how stretchy and loose the fabric is. The best part though?? BECAUSE it’s a nightgown, after a day of wearing, I just pop off my bra and hop into bed!! As a tired elder mom of a toddler, this is VERY welcome. I wish all my clothes could be daywear/pajama hybrids xD.

The fit in this nightgown isn’t particularly flattering for my hourglass figure. Boxier than similar nightgowns. But more frustrating is how the material clings to the sheets. I wake up with the nightgown all bunched around me. Other knit material moves with me as I sleep but this just clings to the sheets and gets tangled.

Overall, I am pleased with it. However, 1 star off because Amazon delivered a nightgown to my front porch in a clear plastic bag. No regular amazon packaging. Why? The green color is beautiful and it fits true to size, it skims; you do NOT want this clingy. I like the slit on one side - it 's not too high, yet high enough that it enables movement and it's a nice show of leg, when applicable. Another star off because it has pockets. I know women love pockets in their dresses, but this would be better without. They are not necessary. They disrupt the flow of the cut and protrude ever so slightly that it causes a slight "bulking" effect in an area where it should be smooth.
