    • Does the job, but you get what you pay for.
This is the kind of rug you should buy if you want a rug to fill a space...but not much more than that. The pictures and description of this product and its measurements are accurate. My package arrived incredibly fast, and although the box was beaten up considerably, the rug was well rolled and sealed tight in plastic that was easy to remove. It uncurled quickly, but the fibers on the edge that were in the center of the roll were a little flattened. I searched high and low for a plain 5X7 fuzzy cream rug for under $50, and this was the first I found. Even if you find a good price on a rug, if there is nothing sticky on the bottom, an anti-skid mat or corner stickers end up being an additional expense...or you risk a slip and fall. So, I appreciate the slightly grippy backside of this rug. Perhaps it might need additional staying power if it is free-lying, but I have it under the coffee table and it seems entirely stable by itself. That being said, this rug is no steal. When you buy a rug in a plain color, you expect that at the very least it feels homey underfoot. Walking on this rug barefoot is not a sensational experience. The fibers are not quite long enough to be fuzzy. When I scrunch my toes, the material feels crunchy and very obviously synthetic & inexpensive. The threads are not sparse, but by no means are they thick or plush. The fibers are also longer than those tight-knit "keep-your-shoes-on" high traffic rugs, so it could definitely collect dirt pretty easily. My conclusion: if you want a rug that has to be a bigger size, and it can't break the bank, this is the rug for you. But if you like walking barefoot, this won't give you the comfort you're looking for. I don't know if this rug can take a beating yet, but if it cannot, this purchase is definitely not worth it. Yeah, it's nice to get an adequate rug for under $50, but in retrospect, I think I'd be happier with either a smaller rug of better quality, or dropping the extra nickel for a rug that is ACTUALLY a good deal. In my educated opinion, for a 5X7 rug, the quality drop off is huge under $50; if you aren't willing to pay more, I would consider going without. ... show more

This is a nice 6’ runner. Love the color (red). Word of warning. When you get one of these, pay close attention to the washing instructions. I didn’t and learned the hard way YOU CANT USE FABRIC SOFTENER!! It turned my once-soft runner into a piece of Velcro that clings to socks when walked upon, or anything that happens to land on it. Oh well, live and learn. I just ordered another to replace it because I like the color but will be very careful the next time I wash the rugs. Probably just a cold water rinse. ... show more

My shoes, socks and slippers stick to this rug! I have to peel it off my socks every time I walk on it. Same with my sneakers and slippers- never had this kind of an issue with a rug before!

Edited to add for clarity- I bought this rug for 30$ and my review reflects that price. I dont think I would pay more than 30 for the 5x7. I am surprised by the negative reviews . It's a 30$ rug. I ordered a 5x7 in navy blue , came exactly as described . Thin but great for my children to play on, and enough cushion to not sit on the hard floor. The rubber backing is great , it stays in place . It also had no chemical smell. Rolled flat right away . I would definitely order again . ... show more

This rug was really a surprise. Very nice. Only problem for me was the size. It was too big for the area I had in mind. i got a 7 by 10. What would have worked best is a 5 by 7 for the area. I think I need a smaller size. other than that it was a rich lovely deep shade of red.

    • Theyre bigger than i expected
The only reason(s) I didn't give 5 stars is 1. They don't have much grip to them on the bottom, so even on carpet they slide around. 2. They crease too easily. 2 of my rugs have a lump in them that won't go away because someone stepped on them while they were wrinkled and it won't stay flat now.

Love this rug. It's well made, especially for the price. It's a great blue color, just like the picture. fits perfectly in my bedroom and now the dog won't slip on the wood floors when she jumps on the bed.

I ordered three rugs they have all surpassed my expectations. Quality product for the price! The backing is supple, not some thin cardboard type of backing that you know will fall apart in time. The rug weave is soft, not scratchy! It's perfect for my Zen Den!
