I went back and forth for weeks between more well-known washable rug brands and lesser known Amazon finds before I finally decided to just take the leap and purchase this. Though it’s not the pattern I would ideally pick…I have no regrets! I have a toddler and 2 dogs and countless teenage and adult feet treading all over my floors everyday and needed something I could throw in a washer (totally worth a trip to the laundromat and their commercial washers) and start fresh! I will NEVER go back to a shag rug. This rug is very thin, which I wanted for ability to wash, but it’s incredibly soft. I read a review that compared it to a squishmallow and I couldn’t agree more. I don’t know how it is this soft, but it is. I did order a felt pad for underneath it and it has worked out great. Though I haven’t had to wash it yet I have taken many wet cloths to clean paw prints or cheesy toddler prints from it with ease. It also repels liquids so if you spill anything you can easily take a rag to absorb it quickly before it sets into your rug. So far, nothing but love for this rug. I am blown away by this rug! I got it to use in my babies play pen. I love that it’s cotton and I washed it right away to make it ready for baby. It washed and dried so well and is sooo soft!
