As advertised, this area rug is definitely ultra-thin! I actually really like this feature, since several times I have purchased little floor mats or area rugs to put inside doorways, and they end up being so high profile the door gets stuck. That's definitely not a problem with this one. I have it inside my back door, and it is the perfect size and shape! I haven't tried laundering it yet, but it feels study enough to survive the wash. The 2 ft x 3 ft size of This rug makes a great doormat by a door. It is thin but holds up nicely, even after running it through the washer. The rug lays flat without moving because of the non slip coating on the back. The design and color blend well with various decor styles. If you are looking for a plush rug, this is not for you. It arrives folded in a large envelope. Very thrifty. I am pleased with this rug and would purchase more.

For the price of admission ($15) on Amazon and given the longevity (been using it for close to a month now), this is a recommended buy. The things I like about it are it's got a thin profile for those annoying doors that don't have much clearance below the door. The print looks nice but has started to fade. It's quite easy to vacuum with a cordless cleaner. Recommended buy.

Tried this in our oak floor entry way and it was way too thin. It's much prettier than more durable and effective mats but so thin that you can't even wipe your feet well: it moves too much and there's no traction. So, moved it to the dining room carpet outside the kitchen. This has real possibilities. Because it is so thin and has a little bit of grip on the back, it is staying in place better than other area rugs have. We like a small carpet outside the kitchen because of traffic right there and because the dog likes to lie there and watch us cook. This rug protects the carpet and is pretty enough to have in the dining room.

I knew from the description that this was a thin rug, but when it came in the mail folded up in a USPS envelope, I expected it to be like throwing a piece of cloth on the floor. However, when I opened it up, I was surprised to see that, although very thin, it has a substantial non-slip backing. The upper surface has an elegant oriental rug appearance with a sheen that gives the appearance of an old, genuine oriental rug. One of the advantages of a thin rug is that most doors will be able to open over it, a problem I have with some rooms in my house. However, if what you want is a thick, plush rug, this isn't it. Update: While still a very attreactive rug it is not as non-slip as itat first seemed. Not dangerously , but requires frequent repositioning. For this reason, downgraded from 5 stars to 4.

This has turned out to be a nice, small rug for my entry way. I didn’t plan quite well and it’s smaller than I think I would have wanted (given its design) but it’s worked out fine. The grip keeps it on the ground with no issue. I have yet to wash it but it appears simple to toss in the washer

This rug is so cute and so good for doorways. It is so easy to vacuum and clean. The design is so cute, and I love it. The size I feel good be a tad bigger, but it is a good size for a regular doorway. It does not slip and slide everywhere which is another plus in my book.

I was in need of a new entry mat, as my old one was way too small and didn’t do a great job of keeping dirt from getting tracked all over. I figured this one was going to be more for looks than functionality, but it ticks all the boxes! I’ve noticed far less need to vacuum and mop around the front door, which is huge considering my massive GSD tends to leave a mess anywhere he goes.
