The rug arrived folded up and compressed in a bag. Before opening it, I read the enclosed card suggesting various ways to get rid of the creases so the rug would lay flat. Then I opened the bag, laid out the rug, and it was almost perfectly flat from the get-go. Pleasant surprise! I didn't have to do a thing to it other than lay it out on the floor. I am impressed with the quality of construction, with nicely finished edges with quality stitching. The non-slip backing works well, which I tested by laying the rug out on my (rather slippery) hardwood floors. It stayed firmly in place while my wife and I (and our dogs) walked on it. It never budged. It stayed flat even at the corners. Speaking of walking on the rug, it practically begs you to take your shoes off because it's so soft. It's not thick, but it IS soft. It's perfect for a bedroom, which is where I put ours. The colors on the rug are really nice. The pattern is crisp, and the colors are deep. It looks better in person than it does in the product photos. When I told my wife how much the rug sells for (just under $50 when I ordered it), she was quite impressed with the quality for the price. I agree that it punches above its price point. She and I are both really happy with the rug.

This 5×7 No-Slip Modern Black Abstract Area Rug is probably the softest rug I have ever felt. When I took it out of the plastic wrap and laid it out to flatten any wrinkles, I was pleasantly surprised—there were none to knock out. It was ready to go immediately. I placed it on a hardwood floor in one of my living rooms, and when I say it doesn’t move, I mean it. I even tried to slide it, and it stayed completely secure. That was extremely important to me since I have older guests who visit, and slipping is absolutely not an option. The abstract design is very unique and modern. The colors I see include white, light gray, dark gray, and black, making it easy to match with existing décor. For me, pairing it with basic black was the safest and cleanest choice. This rug will definitely complement any room it’s placed in, adding both style and safety.

This 5x7 area rug has been a great addition to our living room. It’s very soft and comfortable to walk on, and the design looks even better in person—it really tied the room together and pulled the whole space into a cohesive look. I also appreciate that it’s washable, which makes it much more practical for everyday living. One thing worth noting is that it did have a strong plastic/chemical smell when first taken out of the packaging. However, after leaving it on our three-season porch overnight, the smell completely went away and hasn’t returned. Overall, once aired out, this rug has been perfect. Comfortable, attractive, and easy to maintain—I’d definitely recommend it.

I love how soft this rug is — my daughter immediately noticed! She stepped on it and said, “Oh wow, that is soft,” and I don’t think she even realized it was a new rug over our old one. The modern abstract design looks fantastic in the living room, and it adds style without being overpowering. The backing is excellent, keeping it in place, and like I said, it’s so smooth and soft underfoot. I also love that it’s washable and stain-resistant, making it perfect for high-traffic areas or kids’ rooms. This 5’x7’ area rug came in a compact package that was both well packed but easy to unpack. The coloration is good with the browns tans and creame blending in well with the other things in our house. I had it laid out to see if there would be any issues with creasing. The photo you see is literal minutes after unpacking. The quality seems good with not off gassing that I could tell. I’m not overly sensitive but I would notice if it was present. I’ll be moving in into another room as it’s final resting place. The size, richness of colors and softness all make this a reasonable value for good quality.

I am pleasantly surprised how soft this is! Since I’m not a fan of the pattern. I intended this for the dog since he’s older and cannot grip tile. But since is so soft and feels amazing under foot, I’m debating switching rugs with the dog! I think the value is good. It does not slip. I only had it flat for a day and the folds are already out. Great area rug!
