  • Exceptional for the price
Style: Liquid Freezer II 420 Size: 420
Structure- unique pros, my cons and possible fixes for them, summary Pros- .An outstanding usermanual that makes it easy to configure and install .oddly enough the manual doesnt show a (case to fan to rad *pull*) configuration, this is possible with no extra hardware; Mounting holes on both sides of rad. Any configuration is possible .Unique mounting system for AMD4 that enhances cooling for specific AMD chips .Silent VRAM fan that can be easily disconnected if desired .Very quiet and variable speed fans with quality bearings .virtually silent pump, quieter than near silent fans (however see cons) Cons (only had cons that were specific to me)- .radiator had enough air out of the box where, running at the upper pump rpm, draws the air into the pump that is ~4 inches lower that the top of the rad. The air is audible but only in semi quiet conditions. Stricter QA standards, a fill port (hard to be possible with this size rad) may help -mitigations: mounting the rad with in/outlets on bottom (if vertically mounted) would prevent entirely but not possible with my build, however running pump on variable fan header instead of max rpm pump header prevents issue until a hard load .two spots on radiator that were under the original fan position had notable damage to the fins in a ~half inch area on each. Damage was bad enough to block flow in the area. Taking a Xacto knife and working the fins back opened flow, but still shows damaged areas (important to me because I moved the fans to the other side). Mitigations: Stricter QA standards Summary: I would without a doubt buy this AIO again if I needed another. Seeing the attention to detail and above and beyond design and components that Artic uses at this price point puts them on the forefront of cooling for me in the future. The two cons were specific to my individual rad and were not bad enough to sway my opinion on the company. The cooler looks mean and preforms phenomenally. Enough said. ... show more

  • Better than I anticipated
Style: Liquid Freezer II 280 Size: Liquid Freezer II 280
Pros: - Super quiet - Leagues better than the famous Noctua NH-D15: I'm getting 10 degrees less than the NH-D15 while my CPU (Ryzen 5 5600X) is boosting higher and for longer - Looks way better than having a giant air-cooler which makes maintenance a nightmare and too much to handle, especially with a back-plated GPU - More confidence in transporting the system in case I need to move or do stuff away from home with it - Copper base that's ingeniously mounted to where the center of the plate covers where the die is for the CPU - A VRM cooler, which looks more of a gimmick but adds to the badass aesthetic of the pump combo, but it is much quieter than I expect considering tiny fans like those tend to make a lot of noise regardless of fan speed - Thick radiator Cons: - Documentation seemed confusing at first, especially for first time builders - The braided tubes can hard to work with and don't inspire a lot of confidence for many people - No RGB lighting; we're leaving some performance on the table Overall: Even with those cons, they seem to be a me problem than actual objective problems. And considering that my system runs cooler than the Noctua while having: easier maintenance, less wait on the CPU socket, looks cooler, and is quieter - I'd say that extra $60 from the standard 280mm variant was well worth it, and especially than the NH-D15. ... show more

  • GREATTT product small flaw
Style: Liquid Freezer II 360 Size: 360
The cooler is amazing dont get me wrong but it did not come with a 115x back bracket to hold the cooled I had to purchase a universal one online, besides that amazing product

  • Comes with lga1700 bracket
Style: Liquid Freezer II 360 Size: 360
It comes with the lga1700 bracket. Now I won’t have to wait a month to get one from Germany. This is the 3rd Liquid Freezer II cooler that I’ve bought. The first one was a 360mm version which I paired with my Ryzen system but I upgraded to the 420mm version. I donated the first one to a system I built for my dad which has a 12700k. I was able to get an lga1700 bracket from Arctic for free but it took a month to get it. Now that the bracket is included, I don’t have to wait for it or spend $8 to get one. What I plan to do with my 3rd 360mm cooler is pair it with a Core i9-7960x that I’m going to delid and then overclock. The 7960x & AC 360mm combo will replace an i7-7820x & H115i combo…with an EVGA x299 Dark motherboard. Originally I had the AC 360mm paired with a Ryzen 3900x, but then I upgraded to the 5950x once I was able to order one. The 360mm version kills it with the 3900x and it was enough to cool a 5950x. I ended up upgrading to the 420mm version… in which case the temps stayed the same but the clocks were slightly higher. The 360mm version is more than enough with the Core i7-12700k and there is a bit of headroom for overclocking. ... show more

  • Seems to cool well, but shady seller.
Style: Liquid Freezer II 280 Size: Liquid Freezer II 280
The cooler was definitely repackaged and used. There was hair between the fans and the radiator, and the copper block had definite scratches from someone wiping the thermal paste (that was missing from the package) off leaving a residue behind. The plastic baggies that held the assorted screws were cut open and while they were included, all the assorted screws etc. were in a separate zip lock style bag. I do not recommend the seller that shipped this to me. When a product is advertised as new it should be new and unused. I do like how the cooler looks and sounds. It seems to function well, keeping my 5900X well below the thermal throttling threshold. Time will tell for product longevity. ... show more

  • Satisfactory, best cooler
Style: Liquid Freezer II 360 Size: 360
Before this cooler I had different brand’s cooler for ryzen9 3900xt. With previous cooler usual temperature was around 90 celcius ! Which is dangerous. But right now when even rendering I saw maximum 50 celcius. You can buy without thinking.

  • No RGB best cooler
Style: Liquid Freezer II 360 Size: 360
This thing keeps my oc i9-10850k super cool! Idle temps and general browsing the cpu is 20 C. With more demanding games my avg cpu temp is around 40C. Blender, rendering and modeling keeps it up around 60C EDIT: It's been over a year since I've had this, same great performance. My Temps are still the same and by far the best performing (not looking) AIO I've bought. If you don't care about the extra frames the RGB lights give ya, this cooler is best for functionality ... show more
