Features

  • PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL: This commercial freezer is equipped with an electronic thermostat and external digital LED display so that you can easily read the current temperature and adjust it if necessary. The Artic Air AWF25 maintains temperatures between -7 - 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • 25 CUBIC FEET CAPACITY: This unit comes standard with three adjustable, heavy-duty epoxy coated wire shelves so that you reconfigure the storage space to best hold all of your frozen items! Inside, this unit provides 25 cu. ft. of flexible storage space.
  • EFFICIENT OPERATION: The self-contained capillary tube system circulates CFC-free, R-404A refrigerant through the unit, and the condensate heating element is built directly into the condensate pan to more efficiently evaporate excess water.
  • RECESSED HANDLE DESIGNED: The door on this ArticAir freezer is field reversible for right or left-handed operation, and the foamed-in, recessed handle provides an easy grip without protruding from the unit.
  • ERGONOMIC DESIGN: It includes a bottom-mounted, 3/4 hp compressor that allows for ergonomic use, as it elevates the storage compartment to reduce the need to bend and lift heavy items. Plus, the bottom-mounted compressor allows the user to use the unit's top as valuable extra storage.

  • Be prepared to assemble upon arrival
COVID-19 caused a stop of production, so freezers were scarce. We felt lucky to have found this purchase on Amazon. The Product was shipped in a big cardboard box. It arrived with several holes in the box and the bottom of the box was missing. Only a minor inconsequental dent was made on the bottom corner of the freezer. First shock was the freezer door was locked ! Second shock, "it did not have wheels". We were able to use a totally different key to get inside. Inside were 2 KEYs, a manual, and a styrofoam box which contained the 4 wheels and required bolts. Fortunately we had the right tools on hand (dolly, wrench, etc). Next challenge was a 2-person job, we had to lean the freezer 45-degrees in order to install the wheels on the bottom. We made sure the freezer was on level concrete and plugged itin. It took a good part of the day to reach -3 degrees. We waited 3-days with it empty to make sure it was running right. Several days have passed with the freezer loaded with food at 50% capacity and everything seems to be working fine. So far we are very pleased with the purchase. Just ordered 2 sets of wire freezer organizer baskets. ... show more

  • Great Product w/ Quick Delivery
My Freezer arrived before the expected delivery date (by a week) during a pandemic.. impressive. Nice Freezer, achieves temperature quickly out of the box. So far no issues, I give the product a 4-1/2 Star only because you have to assemble the wheels (you're going to need some space) and it's a little noisy. ... show more

  • Horrendous Glue Smell Inside Freezer
This is the third Arctic Air commercial Freezer I've purchased in the last twenty years. It is by far the worst. The unit is very noisy. Although it has more cubic space it doesn't seem to have the same amount of room inside the unit as the last two I owned. It cost twice as much as the last Arctic Air I bought back in 2014. The main reason I dislike it so much is the horrible airplane glue smell that came with the unit. I have experienced this nasty chemical smell before in other cheaply made appliances. I had hoped it would fade or go away after using the freezer for a while, unfortunately it has gotten stronger. The glue smell inside the freezer is overwhelming. Food stored inside the unit reeks of it, rendering it inedible. I believe this chemical smell will never go away. Worse, Arctic Air refuses to warrant their commercial freezer if it is being used in a residential address. I would not recommend this product or this company. This freezer was made by a company who would void a warranty just because of the location the unit is housed in. Arctic Air should stand behind their product no matter what. It is clear to me Arctic Air knowingly cut corners on the manufacturing of this freezer. Because of this, it will be the last Arctic Air I will buy. ... show more

  • Freezer is a Champ - It froze 18 Gallons of Fruit Juice over-night.
The Freezer works awesome. It has a 3/4 Hp compressor motor which is bigger than most. It cooled from 60 degrees down to -7 in about 25 minutes. It arrived with dents. Which I should have refused delivery. I didn't so I can't blame anyone but myself. I researched a lot of freezers before setting my cross-hair on it. My only wish is the mfg. had a Stainless steel version of this with 3/4 Hp motor. Can't complain about the price or the ease of setting up the unit. I would recommend this to someone else. ... show more

  • Works great when ouside temps are 40 degrees or less.
I did a lot of research before buying this appliance. I guess we got what we purchased, but not what we really wanted. Price was NOT our issue. Our old freezer was a 28cf Amana upright deep freezer (45+ yr. old) that would maintain -10 degree F consistently . It had a lot of shelf space PLUS a lot of door space. During power outages (we get a lot!) it would hold temps below 20 degrees F for 72 hours with the door closed.. This new freezer holds temps between -8 to -3 degree F until the door is open or the power goes off. We have little shelf space (only 3) and no door space. Open the door - +10 degrees. Power off for only 30 min - +20 degree f. It is poorly insulated. We have NO wiggle room in the event of a 12 hour power outage. Everything will begin thawing. The freezer does NOT do as advertixed.. Fish, pork and ice cream will thaw when temps reach 70+ frgrees. Beef will freezer burn in one month! ... show more

  • Extremely quick to cold temperature.
This freezer looks industrial/commercial. Got down to temperature extremely fast (imho). 70 to -7 in 35 minutes. Easy to add the castors after delivery. Love the temperature display. Great freezer.
