This is my first experience with an Arccos game-tracking product, and after using the Air for several rounds, I’ve been very impressed with how much useful information it provides without requiring sensors on every club. The functionality is about as simple as it gets. I pair it, put the Air in my pocket and play. It has been very consistent about detecting my shots without requiring me to keep my phone in my pocket throughout the round. Occasionally it will record an extra shot that I have to remove manually in the app, and it doesn’t catch every short tap-in putt perfectly, but making those small corrections is quick and easy. Because the Air doesn’t require individual club sensors, you simply assign the club used for each shot in the app. I normally have my phone out periodically during a round anyway, so I’ve found it easy to keep everything updated as I play. After logging several rounds, I’ve also been impressed with how accurately Arccos has learned my club distances. Where the Air really becomes valuable is the amount of information you get from the app. Being able to review shot distances, club numbers and strokes-gained data gives you a much better picture of how you actually played than simply looking at your score. The strokes-gained information is probably my favorite part of the system. As a competitive golfer, simply knowing my score doesn’t necessarily tell me what I need to work on. Being able to see specifically where I’m gaining and losing strokes gives me something much more useful to focus on during practice. I’m looking forward to logging more rounds because the more data I collect, the better picture I should have of my game. The course-management features have also been extremely useful. I’ve used Arccos on several courses I had never played before, and having the aerial view of each hole along with the strategy features has helped me decide what to hit off the tee, where trouble is located and where I can afford to miss. I also use the Air alongside the Arccos Smart Laser, and I’ve been impressed with how well the two work together. One area I have noticed that could improve is the course and tee-box information. I’ve encountered some courses where every tee option isn’t available in the app. For example, the tips at my home course aren’t currently listed, so the app may initially show me playing from a shorter tee box, which can skew some of the data. You can easily correct this by dragging the tee-shot location in the app to where you actually played from, so it’s certainly not a major issue. I also imagine the course information will continue to improve over time as Arccos updates its software and course database. Where I think the Air really shines is helping golfers understand the difference between execution and decision-making. You can hit a good golf shot and still lose strokes because you chose the wrong club, aimed at the wrong target or left yourself in a bad position. The only way to improve is to understand where your weaknesses are and how those weaknesses are actually costing you shots. As a competitive golfer, there are features of the Arccos system that I can’t use during tournament play. However, I still find the Air extremely valuable as a practice tool. If the data helps me understand my tendencies, improve my course management and spend my practice time on the areas that are actually costing me strokes, that information still carries over when I compete. I actually think higher-handicap golfers could get just as much, if not more, value from it. Better players and stats-oriented golfers can dig into the strokes-gained information, while higher-handicap players can use the data to learn their actual distances, identify weaknesses and eliminate unnecessary course-management mistakes. Golf is a game of misses. Improving isn’t just about hitting better shots; it’s about understanding your misses and learning how to keep them from costing unnecessary strokes. For a wearable that lets me track my game without club sensors or carrying my phone in my pocket, I think the Air provides strong value for someone who plays regularly and genuinely wants to understand and improve their game.

It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. I found it becomes much more accurate as it learns your shot patterns over time. You also have to be a bit of a numbers geek to really appreciate what it offers. If you're not interested in reviewing your stats after each hole or analyzing your round afterward, it may not be the right product for you. It's definitely not a "set it and forget it" device. It does require some occasional edits and corrections, but if you enjoy tracking your game and digging into the data, it's a powerful tool.

I was really curious how the Arccos Air would work in an actual round, and I came away extremely impressed. Setup and pairing were really easy. I got everything set up before the round without much trouble, and once I had it going I basically forgot about it. I was a little worried that having the Air in my pocket for 18 holes would bother me, but I genuinely never noticed it once while swinging or walking. One thing I surprisingly loved was walking up to the hole and using the button on the Air to set the flag location. It became part of my routine really quickly, and it actually gave me a chance to take a better look around the green and think about where I wanted to leave myself if I missed. Battery life was also a non-issue. Our round was pretty long and I was worried about it lasting all day, but I never had a single battery problem. The best part for me was after the round. The stats were incredibly easy to review in the app, and the strokes gained information immediately felt useful instead of just being a bunch of numbers. I could actually see where I was losing shots and what I should work on. I’ve used Garmin golf tracking for roughly 40 rounds and never really felt like I could get useful data out of it consistently. After one round with Arccos, I already felt like I understood my game better. Honestly, the biggest compliment I can give it is that as soon as I finished looking through the round, I wanted to go play again and collect more data.

Air worked reasonably well overall, but it still missed enough shots that I had to spend considerable time correcting the round afterward. That partly defeats the purpose of a device intended to track the game unobtrusively. The larger issue is that Air does not provide a simple way to preserve the most essential information: an accurate score. At the end of each hole, golfers should be able to enter or confirm: Total score Number of putts Penalty strokes Air could then reconcile that information with the shots it detected and use its AI to identify or reconstruct likely missing shots. Any inferred shot could be marked for quick confirmation after the round. For example, if I record a score of 5 with two putts and one penalty stroke, but Air detected only three total strokes, the system already has enough information to recognize that something is missing. It should propose the most likely correction rather than requiring me to reconstruct the hole manually. This would solve two problems. It would maintain an accurate scorecard during the round, and it would allow golfers to play without continually checking whether every shot had been recorded. At present, I found myself either monitoring the system throughout the round or facing significant editing afterward. Neither experience feels consistent with the idea of invisible, automated tracking.

The Arccos Air has been a fantastic addition to my game. Setup was incredibly easy, and getting it integrated with my existing Arccos account was essentially seamless. I was up and running in just a few minutes without having to rebuild or reconfigure anything. What I really appreciate is how well the Air fits into the existing Arccos ecosystem. It feels like a natural extension of the platform rather than another gadget that requires a bunch of extra steps or maintenance. Once it’s set up, you can largely forget about the technology and just play. The tracking has been reliable, and having everything flow into the same account I was already using makes the experience much more convenient. The combination of simplicity, integration, and the data Arccos provides makes it easy to see how this can genuinely help improve your game. For anyone already using Arccos, I think the Air is a particularly easy upgrade to recommend. Even if you’re relatively new to the Arccos ecosystem, the straightforward setup and overall user experience make getting started painless. Overall, I’m extremely happy with it. It does exactly what I want it to do without making golf feel like a technology project.

I purchased the Arccos Air last week and am very excited for the new updates and technology. I previously started using Arccos with the sensors back in 2018 and used it for a few years. I was never a huge fan of having sensors on the clubs, but the Air is an awesome new upgrade. I eventually stopped using Arccos, but have been intrigued by the idea of the Air. I am extremely happy with the purchase, and am excited to continue using it. It is lightweight and you hardly notice it in your pocket. I've now used it for two rounds, and the accuracy is incredible! I had to add a few new clubs since I last used it, so it is still learning some of my club distances. I am really impressed with how accurate it is. I've only had to change a few clubs, but it still knew my general distances from previously using it. My biggest issue with Arccos is having to look at your phone while playing. With the new Air you can keep it in the bag and it still keeps track of your shots. I love seeing the strokes gained information after the round. Instead of guessing how well you played, it gives you a full breakdown of how you did driving, approach, short, and putting. It will even let you know what specific areas within those categories to work on. I highly recommend checking the Air out if you were a previous Arccos user, or even new to it. I think the data and information is very helpful and fun to track. Great job on the new updates!

No. U can’t just put it in ur pocket and leave it alone. Requires adjustment of club choices, adding and deleting shots, adding penalties, clicking near the pin, etc. Takes some time getting used to. That said, if u can take a few extra seconds and learn how to use, really good information to understand and improve ur game. When I have a good hole. It has a good hole. When I don’t, it doesn’t.

Used the club sensors several years ago and constantly ran into connection issues and shots not being picked up. The Air sensor has worked as flawlessly as it gets, with only needing to adjust for a tap in putt here and there. Having a simple button on the sensor to mark the flag location is brilliant and well designed. Automatic club selection was finicky the first round of use but once Arccos got a better idea of my distances it has been spot on. I love the AI Stratagy for each hole. Was shocked at how small the sensor is as well, I walk most of my rounds and it’s barely noticed in my pocket. Think this product is only going to get better and better!
