I used to manually track my stats after every round - fairways, greens, putts, the whole thing. It worked but it was tedious and I always ended up falling off it after a few weeks. Arccos Air has completely changed that for me. Everything I used to spend time logging is now just there waiting for me in the app after the round without lifting a finger. The AI Strategy and Green Maps features were a bonus I wasn't even expecting. Especially on courses I haven't played before, having hole by hole guidance on where to aim and how best to play each hole based on your own tendencies is like having an experienced caddie with you every round. Played my first round with the Arccos Air today and honestly could not believe how easy and accurate it was. Threw it in my pocket, put my phone in my bag, and just played. No fussing with it on the course, didn't have any sensors on my clubs and it tracked every shot automatically. Even after just one round the data and insights it provided were eye opening. Guess my driver is not as good as i thought!! Really cool to have clear picture of where you are losing and gaining shots, and the best part is you do not have to think about it. It just works exactly as advertised. I wasn't sure if i needed to track my game but I can 100% say i do! Excited to see how my game develops over time. No. U can’t just put it in ur pocket and leave it alone. Requires adjustment of club choices, adding and deleting shots, adding penalties, clicking near the pin, etc. Takes some time getting used to. That said, if u can take a few extra seconds and learn how to use, really good information to understand and improve ur game. When I have a good hole. It has a good hole. Honestly I held off on buying these for a while because the last thing I want mid-round is another thing to think about. I just want to play. So the idea of the new air version not having to log shots or tap my phone after every swing was a game changer!

    • Unimpressive and grossly overpriced
I found the unit to be of very little value. It’s inaccurate, requiring a shot by shot correction after every round because It just guesses on what club you’re using. It’s annoying to have to remember to walk to the cup and push a button before putting. You’ll forget to do this and then that data will be useless as well. It’s too much work and too much money just to get a “strokes Gained” calculation. Also good luck cancelling their over priced service - they charge you for shipping both ways and then still drag their feet to cancel. I was billed 6 weeks after they received my returned unit and had to have my credit card company stop the payment. Stay away from arccos. ... show more

Missed too many shots. Incorrect often. Does not correctly account for less than full shots or poorly hit shots. Does not correctly identify chips from the rough. Better to use other apps like 18 Birdies and record your own shots. Very disappointed. Definitely not worth the money, especially for the second year when you need to pay a few hundred after the first year free. Save your money. Maybe useful for a beginning golfer. ... show more

Great idea but very glitchy on keeping accurate track of shots. You’ll have to edit as you go or after the round but i have yet to have a round where i didn’t have to edit (usually delete) shots. It’s very handy and pretty accurate on yards to the pin. It’s nice tomsee how far you’re actually hitting each club but you have to keep an eye on the club it assumea you hit.
