  • Arcade Fun with a Wii Twist!
I got this game to do a Dave and Busters theme at home during COVID stay at home. I purchased it “used”, so the price point I got it at was lower and fitting I feel. It was a lot more fun than I was expecting and I am glad that I got it! Some of the characters are a little cheesy, but the games were easy to learn and reminiscent of popular games in an arcade...but with a Wii twist! ... show more

  • Bought it used- worth the money there, it is fun but a bit cheesy at times.
There are a lot of people giving this game harsh reviews but we spent an entire day playing this on Father's Day with 3 players and, used, it is worth the money. It's not something I'd play everyday and the 'food' challenges (which are the ones you have to be top dog in to unlock bonus content) are quite frustrating to master and not really arcade games. I digress- there is a little something for everyone- the skeetball and the space bowling were challenging and fun, as were the two games you unlock at the very end (air hockey challenge and Kaboom!) but I'd really have liked to see actual CAPCOM classics appear more and in their true form. The prizes were really just a joke- static pictures and really no point to collecting them, but everyone really did find a game or two they could excel at. The sound effects are quite annoying, with the arcade 'employees' jeering you as you play- but you can actually get some good game play tips and hints if you pay attention to some of their remarks! In the end, we unlocked everything in an evening but, due to the multiplayer options, I think we will play this from time to time with friends and family because it offers quick little mini games we can compete with in between grilling or waiting for the turkey to come out of the oven. ... show more

  • Sorry, it's just not that good...
Got this game yesterday and it looked promising. Had 3 friends over to play and let me say, I was a bit embarrassed by this game. While this is no means a complete review, I can tell you from my initial experience with it, I don't know how much I'll be returning to the game. The controls were terrible for most of the mini-games we tried. The Skee-ball was almost impossible to control and more often than not we ended up not scoring points at all because the ball would barely go up the alley. Other games were also hard to control and the instructions on how the games are played were not helpful. There are annoying voice overs that I wish you could turn off (and maybe you can in a setting, I didn't look). There is a lot of content in the game and at $30, it's not bad so that is the reason I didn't give it a one star rating. However, if all the games were as bad and hard to control as the ones I played so far, I don't see myself returning to this game much more again. I was thinking maybe I should have played a bit more to review this game, but my initial impression did NOT make me (or my friends) want to stick around for very long with it. I only wish I had rented it rather than spending about $30 on it. At least maybe I can save a few others who are on the fence about this game from making the mistake I did. As an aside, I know it gets a bad rep by "hardcore gamers" but stick with Carnival Games for Wii if you want to see a much better version of a game similar to this. ... show more

  • Just a FUN game!
My grandson lives in Texas, I live in Washington state. He calls when he wants something... LOL! So, he called and asked for POKEMON games. I found this Wii game on AMAZON for a low price, and decided to try it out. He LOVED it!!!! These are games his daddy played when he was little, so, both my son & grandson play together and just have fun! I would recommend this for any game-geek who just wants to have fun, and not worry about some quest. ... show more

  • Wii Arcade Zone
This game is a cartoon game with real arcade games and scince that is my favorite entertainment i got it. It is kind of like a real arcade on your TV screen! I love it! It is diffucult because you have to really move the remote in critter hitter (wack a mole)which is tricky! Abyway it is OK.

  • Absolute worst game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this game to play a few retro arcade games that were listed on it, however you are REQUIRED to play some stupid, ridiculous newer games in order to unlock the old ones i want to play. Absolute bulls***! If i paid for the games, i should be entitled to play them, not have to earn the right to. ... show more

  • Lots of fun games to play!
This has many enjoyable, fun games on it. I recommend it. My 9 & 14 yr olds could easily play them. My 5 yr old tries, but it is more challenging for him. I have no doubt that with more time, he will enjoy them more like his older siblings do.
