Product description says OEM controllers. Nothing is OEM except the console. I've tried to attach a photo of the description in case they change it in the future, but amazon removed the review. When i purchased, the listing claimed the accessories were OEM, but they are not, sadly this means that the Wii is nigh unusable as it is shipped to you. For those who are wondering, OEM Wii controllers will ALWAYS have "Wii" printed at the bottom for the base and motion plus models. These do not. They feel light and tacky. The sensor in them is not as good as any of the oem equipment. For those who do not know, the sensor is in the controller, not the bar, meaning that the controller quality determines the accuracy of the pointer. One last way to tell if a controller is genuine is to look at the screws. Nintendo uses "tri-wing" screws in OEM hardware. Fakes just use Phillips. Nunchucks are not OEM. I did not try them The controllers come with rechargables, but the capacity is misleading. The label says 2850 mAh, but they only last 30 minutes, meaning that the controllers would have to be drawing 5.7 amps of current at the sticker rating, or about as much as a modern phone running extremely heavy workloads. A Wii controller does not need that much current. The rating is fake. The power brick is fake, and emits a terrible whining noise when plugged in that children and most adults can hear. I have a strong suspicion its a fire hazard, and the ratings are dubious. For some reason its made to look like a real brick but its not. Again, it fails the screw test. Then the WII console itself. It appears to be OEM, the only thing that Nintendo touched in the package. However, the "renewed" portion is that they put a white Sticker on the console to make it appear new! The console under is a sickly pale yellow. If this is how the refurbisher handles the most important part of the package, how do you think they handle the rest? Save your money for elsewhere. More than satisfied! Received in excellent condition. Exactly as described, probably even better. I ordered a comparable setup from another seller in the past. Unfortunately it had heat issues, video and sound issues. I did not have time to set that one up before the return period was over with so got stuck with my original broken Wii and a broken refurb. THIS seller has restored my faith in renewed Wii consoles. Best games ever and it is reassuring to know there ARE refurb builder/sellers who know what they’re doing and CAN rebuild/refurb these consoles. Additionally, the new 3rd party, rechargeable controllers with battery packs that can even be used in our original Wii controllers was a really nice touch. Thank you to this seller for loving Nintendo Wii as much as our family does(maybe more) and renewing these. Having a blast playing Excite Truck, Guitar Hero, Wii Resort, etc., etc. again. Since I know they would get a new life I would gladly offer this seller my two non-working consoles to fix or use as parts. ... show more

I was really nervous about buying a pre-owned Wii online. After reading horror stories about other sellers sending broken consoles or dead power supplies because they simply do not care, I braced for the worst.I am so glad I bought from rock_30_games! The hardware is immaculate, and the game quality is outstanding. Every title loads instantly, plays incredibly smoothly, and looks crisp on the screen with zero disc-read errors or lag. Whoever is working there, seriously, keep it up. You guys are doing an amazing job tuning these systems.Their customer service is absolutely great. The package was initially missing two silicone jackets for the remotes that were listed in the description. I messaged them nicely to ask if they could send them out. They responded the very next day, confirmed they were shipping them immediately, and already provided a tracking number.This is an absolutely great company that will not let you down. The Nintendo Wii console works really good. My grandchildren love it! The only problem that I have is that the straps on the hand-held remotes straps came off and are broken. They cannot be put back on because they are broken.

Final update: New Wii was delivered and works perfectly! The seller was quick with getting it shipped. Now the kids are able to play their games! Update: the seller has sent a replacement. They worked through the issue and have made sure to replace it. I will update again once it’s received. If I could give 0 stars I would. The item would not work. Doesn’t load a disc and won’t connect to the internet ... show more

    • not once, but TWICE remotes don’t work.
not sure how this is a “best selling” product. first one i received came with remotes that didn’t connect to the console. i called customer service and they sent me a new one. i was excited thinking there’s no way they’d send me one with the same issue but nope! just finished setting the second one up to run into the same problem: remotes do not work which renders the entire console absolutely useless. tried to call again to possibly troubleshoot the issue just to get sent to voicemail. i’ve never left a bad review in my life but this is a complete scam. consoles come covered in white vinyl paper applied super sloppy and i was even willing to overlook that but i can’t even use it! save your money, shop elsewhere. ... show more
