    • Was sent a hacked console in poor condition
This was advertised as being "Excellent" condition, but the doors over the memory card slot and the Gamecube controller ports fell off the console almost immediately after it came out of the box. The speaker on at least one of the Wii remotes doesn't really work right either, it sounds garbled and very low quality. Worst of all though, not only was the console not factory reset, it was homebrewed and had software that shouldn't have even been on it. I did not want and should not have had to expect to be sent a hacked console that had someone else's software on it. Even after factory-resetting it myself, it's impossible to know if all of the hacked software was removed or if there's a risk in using the system. ... show more

The Wii seems to be working fine after about a week of using it. The second controller that came with it did not want to program to the Wii. I would have complained/returned it, but we have other controllers from our old Wii that did sync up just fine. Overall it appears to be a quality refurbished unit. I would say to make sure to check everything first since quality control may not be the best (since ours was shipped with a defective controller). Why did you pick this product vs others?: Just because you include alot doesn't mean it's worth it. Let me say that this is definitely a situation where you get what you pay for. While it is listed as refurbished, it's in bad condition. Scuffed up and everything. I'm going to see if I can find a custom case for it. The controllers feel cheap and third party, and they threw in a third party sensor bar that DOES NOT WORK! Was gonna buy a new one on here before seeing the exact one they included. With all that I may have to invest to make this worth it, I may just return it. If you are going to buy this, do NOT have normal expectations. ... show more

We ordered this because the price was right and it came with two Wii remotes and two nunchucks. Not only does it say that in the photo description, but it says it in the features and details. However, when it arrived, it only came with one remote and one nunchuck. So I went back to the description to read it, and I still see it in the photo description and in the features and details, but in the description itself, it says it comes with one. So it’s very misleading. In two different places it says it comes with two of each, but then it says it comes with one in the description. Very frustrating when you think you’re getting something and you get something else. We’re keeping it because we really wanted this system, and I guess we’ll just have to order another set with controller and nunchuck. But very frustrating. Description should be updated to reflect what is actually included in the box. I tried to reach out to ask a question but I had no success with that. So we’re just going to give it a three star review and keep the product. ... show more
