But I said "Hey, easy return if I end up not liking it" Well, I got this delivered and I was shocked to see how small the box was. I was expecting a rolled up carpet, but this was vacuum sealed in a box. An 8 by 10 FOOT carpet... in a box?? It was kind of perfect since I was moving anyways. So I brought it to my new place, opened the box, and took the rug out of the box... it DEFINITELY has a smell... like artificial chocolate or something? But it went away in just a couple hours, so nothing to be concerned about. Anyways, the carpet is SUPER soft and looks really good. Got this rug vacume sealed in a small bag which is not what you expect when purchasing a rug. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and opened it to inspect. The rug smells so strongly of chemicals I had to put it outside along with it being no thicker than a glorified blanket. It is poorly put together and when held up you can see sunlight through it which was shocking. There is virtually no padding or backing and I am shocked at how low quality this rug is.
