These rolls of tape were packaged separately, one for the hook and the other for the loop. To confirm their length, I extended them and measured; they were approximately 26 feet, with only a one or two-inch variance. Anticipating the possibility of losing one roll, I joined them together and then divided the combined tape into two rolls, each about 6 to 7 inches in diameter. This made it much more convenient to handle and use. The tape exhibits excellent adhesion both on clean, dry, flat surfaces and between the hook and loop sides. In fact, I would compare its performance to brand name products. I've already used it to hang various items. We have door decorations up year-round, and they tend to sway in the wind or bounce around when the door opens or closes. This tape provided an instant solution. I will need to see how it holds up in the weather. With my collection of at least ten different types of tape, I've now added this one, and I can see myself using it frequently.     • Not attached to itself makes it difficult to align
I wish these had come attached to each other. They are side by side and not on the same paper either. Makes it hard to line them up and get a good even cut. But they adhere very well and work great. I use this stuff for literally everything, from decor to furniture.

I'm using this velcro to attach some seat protectors in the trunk area of my jeep. So far the adhesive is holding strong and has not let go like the original velcro did. Has no issues holding on to automotive carpet.

    • Hook-and-loop is superior to mushroom hook fight me
What's not to love about 26 feet of 1 inch wide black hook-and-loop (velcro) tape? The adhesive backing is really strong and sticks to most surfaces so well. I simply cannot stand the newer self-mating reclosable "dual-lock" mushroom hook style of fasteners that are becoming more prevalent. I understand that the newer stuff probably lasts longer over time, but it has its drawbacks that makes me love the classic hook-and-loop style so much better. The new mushroom hooks only seem to work well if you apply it to a flat surface. If the surface is curved the mushroom shapes don't hook onto each other well if at all. The flexibility of hook-and-loop allows it to be applied to weirdly shaped surfaces just fine. And while the fabric side of the hook-and-loop can and will get worse with repeated use, if a few of the mushroom hooks break off it typically causes the surrounding hooks to lose the ability to hold tight as well. Cheaper, more effective, and vastly more flexible, the hook-and-loop style is the best choice for almost all situations where you want to use velcro tape. ... show more

If you don't believe me, search "uses for velcro". Thank me later 😉 Now, THIS velcro is as good as any I've used. The adhesive holds better than some other name brands I've used, and I do use velcro for many things. I use it at home to secure in place, and organize computer cables. I use it at work to hold my buisness card holder to the desk. No more dropped card holder. I use it in my car to secure car mats. I even use the fuzzy side on the back side of my car's license plate to avoid the plate rubbing againt and damaging my car's paint underneath. Velcro pro tip: It is advisable to stick the hook portion to the stationary/non-moveable surface, and stick the fuzzy side on the item that is movable/removable. So, if you need some velcro, this is good and the adhesive is strong. Good deal! ... show more

I can’t get this to hold anything, up or in place. Maybe if you want to put a piece a paper on the wall. Everything that I have tried to use these for, just ends up falling or coming apart. The adhesive isn’t that sticky to begin with and the Velcro separates with ease.
