After replacing front wheels, including warming and re-installing the grease caps (YT videos), I discovered one grease zerk was loose and stripped out. I was unable to tighten it down and unable to obtain a seal. Fortunate for me I WAS able to back it out and replace it with a zerk I had in the shop. Not the first time zerks are mentioned in the reviews. Otherwise, fit and finish are good. Extra washers and bushings are a plus, but I did not need them. ... show more

Great set of wheels that have lasted me many many mows. The entire instillation process was pretty easy BUT you absolutely will want to use a jack for the axle as well as your safety. Amazon sells a 2 pack that are more than sufficient although you only really need 1 having a second is nice. They were a perfect match for my LX-188 94' mower although the wheel bearing dust cap wouldn't so I 3d printed a different one and its worked perfectly since. ... show more

This is NOT an exact replacement for my John Deere D140. The bearing diameter is larger by about 30 mil meaning it's a sloppy fit and may cause bearing damage long term. Also, the tire itself is more rounded, narrower that the original which could cause ruts in soft grass or dirt. If all you need is a temporary wheel while you find a better one, then this should work. ... show more
