Description

The Aquascape Pro Air 20 Pond Aeration Kit is the ideal solution for aerating ponds and water features up to 5,000 gallons. The complete kit provides everything needed to supply dissolved oxygen directly to pond water, helping all biological processes and ensuring healthier water, fish, and plants. The system can also be used during freezing months, when it will keep a hole open in the surface of the pond to help keep pond fish safe through the winter. The energy-efficient, outdoor-rated 15-watt compressor with heavy-duty metal housing stands up to the elements, and its integrated rubber feet effectively minimize noise and vibration. A specially designed, maintenance-free 10” aeration diffuser uses a self-cleaning rubber membrane that expands to clear clogging dirt and debris. The diffuser's interior weighted ballast keeps it at the bottom of the pond without the need for additional weights. A pre- installed barbed compressor outlet fitting easily attaches to the included 3/8” braided tubing with pre-installed check valve. The included 30' of braided aeration tubing is freeze-resistant and built to last in all seasons. Stainless steel hose clamps are included to secure aeration tubing to the outlet and diffuser. With the Pro Air 20 Pond Aeration Kit, it is easy to maintain clean, clear, and healthy water.

This aerator works not only as an aerator but also as a great de-icer for my pond. We had temperatures around 14°F and even down to –4°F, and my pond did not freeze. You can clearly see in the photo that there is open water even during extreme cold. I’ve been running this unit since summer and this is its first winter. So far, zero issues. It runs constantly and keeps the water moving. I keep the motor under a plastic cover for weather protection, and it has handled winter conditions very well. One thing to mention – it is not silent. When it’s very quiet outside, you can hear the motor running if you are close to the pond. Some reviews say it’s almost silent, but for me there is definitely a noticeable sound. It’s not loud, but if you really love complete silence and nature sounds, you will notice it. That said, performance-wise it’s excellent. I no longer need to use an electric pond heater in winter, which was my main goal. The aerator stays in place all winter and just works. Overall, very happy with this purchase. ... show more

Best thing we bought for our pond. Our pump had broken and we couldn’t get anyone here to fix it. We were afraid all our fish were going to die. The aerator worked great for 2 weeks while we waited for a new pump.

This aerator is as good as it gets. I leave it outside exposed to the elements and it hasn't given me any problems at all. The fish love all of the extra oxygen and it is strong enough to keep a hole in the ice without a heater during the winter (even when it got below 0 degrees F). I love how there is a valve that I could detach to check if air is still flowing. The unit is so quiet I could not rely on sound to know if the unit was on or if there was a problem. Of course there was not a problem, just a tripped breaker. There is more than enough tubing in the box so I cut off what I needed and have plenty more stored in my garage for years to come. This was more expensive than some of the other aerators that I used in the past but they all broke within the year and didn't even pump out as much air as this one. At this point, I am saving money now that I do not need to replace this aerator. ... show more

The pump and air stone produce a huge volume of bubbles. This is by far the best pump I've had in my 3,000 gallon koi pond. It's on the expensive side but seems worth what it costs. As a follow up after five years of constant use …. The air pump continues to work like a champ. The diffuser was a disappointment. No matter how hard I worked to keep it clean it produced almost no bubbles after two years. I found another way to get abundant diffuse bubbles but not with this product. ... show more

I have a 5000 gallon fish pond and added this aerator to it for more oxygen. It works well and is very well built. The hose was more than long enough to place the bubbler anywhere in the pond with plenty of slack. I definitely recommend it.

100,000 times quieter than the Aquascape 75001 Pond Air 4 (Quadruple Outlet Aeration Kit) that we replaced, which had stopped blowing air after 2 years but was not covered under warranty because they’re replaceable parts. The 75001 drove us crazy with the noise, but we can’t hear this one unless we’re really close to it. Finally, aeration and serenity. We’ve had in installed for 30 minutes and wish we’d bought it 2 years ago when we bought the other one. More expensive, yes, but also outdoor rated. The blue tube is annoying. Why make a weighted tube a separately orderable part? Who would ever want their air tube to float? Seriously, just make it an option on the order, or Amazon, put it in the list of recommended products to buy with this. ... show more

    • Best Air Pump My Pond Has Ever Had. Fish & I are Totally Delighted.

Top quality and built like a tank. Expensive but well worth it. Would buy it again in a heartbeat. I could not have asked for more. I have a 1,000+ gal. pond 4 ft. deep so it requires a powerful pump to deliver the air needed. This pump is the best I have owned in over 10 years and could easily handle a pond 3 times my size and if it was not as deep as mine then possibly up to 5,000 gals. Only suggestion is consider the weighted air line, if you have to run the line out more than 10 ft. I just put a few weights and all is OK. Finally an instruction booklet that is simple, well written and easy to understand and that also goes for the warranty. Yahoo!!! ... show more
