The media could not be loaded. I use this on TOP of my soil mixes to keep underwater plants and floating plants happy. A year in, my water lilies have doubled and I have 3 floating plants, all very happy. It's a little expensive but worth it because you only need a little on top so one bag goes a long way.

I bought this for my water lily that needed a bigger pot. Good soil. Didn’t cloud the water. Lilies growing good but used the whole bag for only one plant. Will try to find something cheaper next time.

I've never had a pond and this is my first purchase, but it seems like most people are concerned with clouding water? This settled within a couple hours, but I also made sure to pour gently off to the side or against my hand. When I moved and transferred a couple of the plants of course it got super cloudy, but again, it settled very nicely. It's not a whole lot, but it was enough to do at least 3 inches at the top of each pot I used, plus a little left over. Suitable for my beginning needs.

I've bought this twice. It's great for the planted tank set up. However, the second time I purchased it, it was not delivered and Amazon is giving me a hard time about sending the product to me -- the product that I paid for!

I’m a first timer when using pond medium. But this has worked great. Have a small container pond with lotus, papyrus and creeping jenny. The lotus is going nuts! This medium does cloud the water. It is a bit pricy but has worked out really well.

The Pond lilies love it and it's heavy so it does its job. It is on the speedy side but you get what you pay for. I would buy again.
