My shrimp were uninterested, but they were more interested in my duckweed. I didn't have the hide in my tank for long. IMPORTANT NOTE IF YOU HAVE FISH IN THE TANK AS WELL The holes are big enough for a betta fish to stick their heads in. My fish got stuck and died.

This set of shrimp shelters are great! They are made well. The outside as well as the inside of each piece is nice and smooth. It was simple to click the pieces together. I’m pleased that they are black. They will match the sand substrate in my turtle tank. We hope that these will prove to be better shelters for the shrimp that the turtle loves to eat. This shrimp cave is exactly as described. I really like that you have the option to have the bottom on or off. That allows more flexibility on placement.
