A must have item, for aquarium water change! I got another one for my saltwater tank. I keep it connected to the hose/ tubing, so no need to take it out every time I use.

It leaks around the valve. It's job is fairly easy, move water from one end to the other. It fails at this job with a leak around the valve.

I bought this and a 10 foot piece of 1/2” ID tubing that came with hose clamps and a powerhead. I have the power head hooked up to one end of the tubing and the hook on the other. When I do water changes I fill buckets up with water and treat them with a dechlorinator then I put the power head in the bucket and the hook in the tank then turn it on to fill the aquarium with the treated water.     • Makes changing water easy
I should have bought one of these years ago. Every water change seems to go much faster and smoother now and I couldn't be happier.

    • Great accessory for clean water changes
This works really well to allow for water changes with controlled flow and much lower risk of the hose coming out of the tank. Being able to dial in he inlet water flow avoids storing up sediment and agitating the tank.
