This kick board comes with a clear warning label that states it is not a floatation device, however I was expecting it to be a little more buoyant. My son is 6 years old and I am trying to teach him how to swim, so I got this kick board in hopes it would help him improve his kicking. Unfortunately this board quickly sinks into the water with any weight put on it and is really only there to hold on to. If you know how to swim, and are trying to improve your kick strength this might be a good option. This kick board is well built and does have lots of different ways to hold on to it. The sides have ripples to give extra grip and the front handles are a good size. The board feels very solid and should last a long time. Overall this board did not suit my use case and I am going to keep looking for something more buoyant that my son can lay onto and practice his kicking. ... show more

This does not seem to be too helpful. It is completely in the water and barely holds my upper body up. It is a little short. I was hoping it would work a little better.

Solid kick board. The color looks just like it did online. The thickness is that of a regular kick board. It floats my upper body just like any other one would. I do like the hand slots and it works well for me. I would recommend it.
