  • Works with my Hubitat - highly recommend them
For Hubitat, Google and use the Xiaomi "original" drivers. The open/close sensor as well as the sensors work amazingly well for my purposes. For the past week I've been using the open/close on my mailbox that's located by the road. I tried various SmartThings open/close sensors but they kept losing their connection to the hub every few days. I'm guessing that's because of the distance. With the SmatThings sensors, I would need to re-pair or do a battery pull. I have 2 of the temperature/humidity sensors and they also work very well. For the past several months, I have been using them to control the fan in the master bathroom. One in the hallway and the other in the bathroom. When the humidity percentage level is about 15 higher than the hallway, I turn on the fan. I turn off the fan when the bathroom humidity is within 8 of the hallway for at least 5 minutes. ... show more

  • Working with Hubitat as expected. (with custom drivers)
If you are struggling with these staying connected with Hubitat, it is because your mesh is not solid. Plain and simple. I have almost 50 Aqara devices on my Hubitat and near zero problems. I have range extenders plugs in every room that meet Zigbee 3.0 specifications. This is absolutely needed to keep your mesh solid. ... show more

  • Not a bad option
I picked up a couple of these to interface with Home Assistant and so far, they seem to be doing their job. I can only attest to the temperature reading on these, but they seem pretty accurate. The process of pairing with HA through Zigbee was extremely simple and they were sending data in just a few seconds. Battery life is okay, but not great. For me, battery life seems to drop 30% in around a month and a half. So you might be changing batteries 3x per year (depending on where you have these in use; mine are just inside @ 70°F). All in all, I'll probably buy a couple more in the future. ... show more

  • Simple but it works
I use this in an automation with my hubitat where I control the bathroom fans. I have three installed and compare the bathroom(s) with the living room and turn on the fan when the humidity rises in the bathroom(s). Works great. battery life is great. I have had the first installed for over a year now. ... show more

  • Wish that it worked completely with Alexa
I purchased this as a replacement for my first one which became lost. I would give it 5-stars if it could do a couple of things better: 1, Be able to report barometric pressure in Inches/HG in addition to millibars. 2. Be able to report on all of its sensors (temp + barometric pressure + relative humidity) through Alexa. Right now, it only reports temperature through Alexa. ... show more

  • Works great with zigbee2mqtt + HomeAssistant
Cheap little device, works great with my home setup with no tweaking required

  • Nice little monitor for garage
Using it to keep track of humidity and temps in garage where we keep some stock. It's very accurate and flawless connection with Aqara Hub+App.

  • Works with Hubitat, battery drains fast
These tiny sensors work well with Hubitat (using Xiaomi Temperature Humidity Sensor driver). Updates every couple minutes, but the small coin cell battery drains quickly. In one week it's already down 18%, so it's going to need a replacement every month or two. I plan on modifying it to use a CR123 battery instead, and design a custom 3D printed rear case/mount for this modification. This will make it much larger, but then I won't need to be swapping out a battery so often. Accuracy-wise the sensor seems good. It's the only sensor I have that also measures barometric pressure. Other than the short battery life, I like this sensor. ... show more
