This is the best key light you can buy for a desk or for photography. It gets very cool and very warm, and gets blindingly bright. The app is decent and could use a bit more user friendly things but it’s fine. I like this so much I wish I spent the $150 more for the rgb one!

This light is portable and powerful for its size. This is a great key or fill light. The CRI is great as well.

I love the even white light that this light casts. I typically use these lights when shooting interviews, and pairing them with a shoot through umbrella, I find that these lights throw a very nice, soft and even light that is very flattering and easy to work with. They are plenty bright, and I rarely have to push these lights to their full power to hit my desired exposure levels. I also love the remote control, and the ability to control multiple lights independently with the same remote. Makes dialing in key and fill extremely easy. Construction does have a bit of a plasticy feel, and it initially concerned me that the LEDs were open, but I have been using these lights routinely for a year and have found no issues with their robustness. The cases are a nice extra touch, and are also of high quality. Overall, I have been extremely impressed with the 672 series of lights and would not hesitate to buy more if the need ever arises! ... show more

    • Great key light with diffusion
A wonderful second tier starter light, to get you into the Aputure world. Makes a great key light. The smaller models (I forget the model name— h-9 I believe) work great for fill, hair light, and back lighting. You won’t be disappointed In this light + some diffusion.
