    • Quality light mat with the best app available
Set name: F22x 200W Bi-Color
Excellent LED mat light system available and the Sidus Link app is one of the best. For the bundle deal it also included the lantern attachment, which I haven't used yet but could prove to be useful. I really like that the start up time is instant - no nonsense and you get a working light the moment you press the power button. The unit seems built to last and includes the latest bracket that attaches to the mat. I had the original generation bracket and this is leagues better. They did eventually issue a free upgrade for those who had the old bracket. ... show more

    • Great light with few drawbacks
Set name: F22C 200W RGB
This is a great light that has a good punch. Nice and bright, it is also comes with everything you will need. Super versatile, you can pick any color, and use the app… pretty cool! The few things that I didn’t like: - the controller has a fan, and it is surprisingly noisy. I have many aputure lights, and I never had a problem with the fans. Sure you could use the extension and put the controller farther away for interviews, but I shoot documentaries, with intimate interviews, and some times in small rooms… to have to worry about sound takes away from how practical this light is supposed to be. - I wished the power cord could détache from the mat, for easier storage May not be perfect in my situation, but many will be very happy with this light. A very useful tool! Shoutout to the seller “Happy Star Us” for great prices and communication! ... show more

    • A good light with big flaws
Set name: F21X 100W Bi-Color
This is a fine light but with 2 major problems: 1) there are competitors that are far more economical, and 2) the Users Manual has a FATAL FLAW. Aputure makes it very hard for you to find a downloadable pdf users manual, for me, a MUST HAVE. And when I did find a users manual and downloaded it, it doesn't contain ANY text, it is all one big image file, which prevents me from being able to copy and past sections out of the big users manual and paste it into my own custom 'Quick Users Guide' , a MUST HAVE for me. There seems to be a trend among some manufacturers to make Users Manuals hard to find and then they are either copy protected or one big image file. I paid a LOT of money for a product and I expect to have a usable Users Manual. If a company won't do that, I'll buy from one that does. This is a MUST have for me, period! This bad experience that I have had with the Aputure Amaran F21x has left a bad impression on me, one that I WILL remember for a long, long time. That's all too bad because the Aputure Amaran F21x seem to be a fine product, but be aware that GoDox offers far, far more economical competing products and they DO have usable pdf Users Manuals. ... show more
