I purchased this unit in January 2026. The heater works great...actually much better than I expected. Suddenly the unit stopped heating a few days ago. I contacted customer support regarding the issue. We did some troubleshooting and the issue was resolved. It was not a problem with the unit itself. The problem was a mud dobber had built a mud nest in the exhaust pipe coming from the unit, which blocked the exhaust and caused the safety feature to kick the unit off. We removed the nest and the heater is working great. Customer support was amazing in assisting me with the troubleshooting. Miss Jenella did not give up. This company's customer support service is first class. This heater is a great value for the money and with excellent customer support service to back it up. I definitely would recommend this product it's an excellent buy! Thanks Jenella for all the help you provided!

I bought this unit because it was comparable size and ratings of the one I was replacing. So it was and easy install. However it does not heat the water. The unit runs and fires up but the water only heats up to barely lukewarm. Even with only one sink faucet on and at the highest setting of 140. with two points of use even worse. Worse yet the installation and use manual does not have any contact information for APUS. Makes me wonder what kind of scam is this. And this unit is for a AIRBB so its quite the costly mistake buying this thing. I want to return it.

Excellant source of hot water, should have done it long B-4, The hot/cold water lines were a problem at first (no fault 0f the unit) but after getting the best lines to fit the box -= no leaks and no rusty water as the water heats the water and immeadiately sends it to the house main hot water lines. The small 110 needed to elect. the unit only comes on when the faucet is turned on. This unit will last long after I'm gone and no need for heavy expensive hot water heaters that cost 2 to 3 times this unit. As stated it's fantastic and should have put APUS it. First saw these broilers (as the Brits call them in UK). They have been in Europe for 35 plus years, finally made it to Nevada. Excellent unit highly recommend them..Unit weigh less than 20 pounds when hung on the utility room wall... By it and breather easier..

The APUS tankless water heater works very good. It’s quiet and puts out plenty of hot water. We did have an issue with a small internal leak shortly after it was installed. We contacted APUS, and their team was very concerned. The leak was in a sensor that checks the flow of the incoming cold water. This seems to be a commercial part and not a problem with the overall workmanship of the heater, which seems to be very good. After we emailed a couple pictures showing the problem, APUS sent out a complete new unit. Based on their service we would purchase again from APUS.
