Installed this tankless hot water heater, it says not to install in a cabinet, i however did, I made vent holes for the cabinet so that it had air circulation, and vented the exhaust out side, and it works perfectly. Gets up to a whopping 140° and will stay hot with no issues. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting to swap from a tank to a tankless, and may purchase one for my own house.

Don’t waste your time on this Apus tankless water heater. Went to a lot of time and trouble to install this and the thing would not ignite. I got a feeling with customer service that this was a very typical problem with this thing. Still trying to get the money back for it through customer service. Was ignored the first time. Hope this second time results in the refund. Spend an extra 300 and get a Rheem tankless water heater and just be relieved.

Single wall 2 3/8” exhaust pipe was smaller than the 6” double wall used in the unit I replaced. Not enough exhaust pipe to extend through the roof and hard to find locally. The recirculating feature caught me off guard. Working fine now. Seems to be a good value.

Why did we wait so long! Love this! We live off grid and shower like we are in a camper, 5 minutes, but boy this truly gives you more time in the shower, it fills a bathtub easy with no crazy business, my kiddos shower after me in a row and it goes and goes! Wow! We’ve had other instant water heaters and this one is no funny business. Duh, for those who believe they should have everything and more, this is a small instant propane water heater and we do not push it on and on thinking it’s god somehow, but it works for what it is supposed to (showers, baths, dishes, laundry) and we are thankful everyday!

This tankless propane unit is a game changer — far better than a traditional tank system.
