Admittedly, my expertise on this exact topic (plumbing) is a bit limited, but due to having a plumber relative and having had multiple APUS units installed in our properties, the general consensus, thus far, have been that these units work excellently to provide almost-instant hot water. I'm not the one who installs them, but I am happy to report that the build quality and sturdiness of the unit is high. This unit is designed for outdoor installation (by a professional) and for natural gas - so be sure you order the correct installation location and gas type. This unit is beastly big with a 190,000 BTU burner, which works very quickly to heat up water almost instantly. As a person who has sensory issues and feels actual pain from cold water sometimes, I appreciate the unit's performance regarding its lack of temperature fluctuations. Steady, controlled heated water is very ideal. Regarding value, the upfront cost of a tankless water heater unit might seem steep, but it will save energy over time by only requiring fuel when it's actually heating the water versus maintaining a whole tank at all times. It's basically like using more fuel in a short burst but less often. That is also why professional installation is required, in case you missed the other couple times I pointed that out. No need to try to be a hero. Overall, I love this brand and we've had great luck with their tankless water heater units so far. I think the value and quality make this item a solid investment for one looking for convenience, efficiency, and actually quickly warmed water. Recommended. (Check out APUS' smaller, under-the-sink style units if you need something for a specific point versus a household.) Note: if you happen to be a small or less strong human like me, you may want to schedule this item to arrive when you can have help bringing it inside. I had a zero percent chance of being able to carry this in on my own. Be careful out there. : )

I install plumbing fixtures in various houses during stressful remodeling projects. I constantly search for reliable machines to heat cold liquid. I recently discovered the APUS brand on Amazon. APUS is a fantastic up-and-comer in the competitive market of outdoor plumbing. I purchased this APUS tankless water heater just one week ago for a new construction site. I attached the heavy metal box to the exterior wall and connected the natural gas lines. I expected a standard heating experience. I was completely wrong. The sheer power of this APUS unit is absolutely terrifying. It produces one hundred ninety thousand British thermal units of aggressive heat. You turn on a faucet inside the house, and the APUS machine instantly blasts out hot water at eight gallons per minute. It comfortably supports five different water outlets at the exact same time. The machine is incredibly efficient because it only activates the burner when you actually demand hot water. Your pipes will never suffer from a cold shower again. The APUS engineers also included a digital remote control and a wireless internet connection. I personally have absolutely zero desire to text my water heater over Wi-Fi. The concept of my outdoor plumbing maintaining an internet presence is deeply strange to me. However, this APUS unit does not force you to use the smart features. The wireless function is just a neat option sitting quietly in the electronic background. I have installed several APUS water heaters in different homes over the past year. The APUS brand delivers the exact same high quality as famous competitors for a much lower price. APUS also provides generous warranties to protect your financial investment. We highly recommend this APUS natural gas heater for anyone who needs instant boiling water and enjoys owning internet-capable yard appliances. Five stars for delivering extreme thermal power and proving that APUS is the new ruler of affordable plumbing.

Great Quality Unit, But Check Your GPM Needs I purchased this to replace an older tank unit in my home, and while the overall build quality really impressed me, it ultimately didn’t meet my household’s water flow needs. Right out of the box, you can tell this is a well-made product. It feels durable and solid—slightly on the heavier side, which actually adds to the sense of quality. The instructions were also very clear and easy to follow, making setup straightforward. However, the GPM (gallons per minute) output wasn’t sufficient for my home’s demands, which was the main drawback. I would definitely recommend checking your required water flow before purchasing. Overall, it’s a high-quality unit that would work great in the right setting—just be sure it matches your usage needs.

We’ve had experience with this brand before and it’s been really reliable, so I feel comfortable sticking with it. This is one of those things where you want something that just works consistently because it’s tied to your water supply. Tankless systems are nice because you’re getting hot water on demand instead of waiting for a tank to refill, and this one supports multiple outlets which is important for a household. I’ve seen these available at big box stores too, but honestly you can sometimes get a better deal here which is nice. The build quality is good and it feels like something that’s going to last instead of needing constant attention. It’s one of those bigger purchases where reliability matters and this has been solid for us.
