I had originally bought the Starlight just for some fun DJing while I'm sitting on my couch or other times that I don't feel like bringing out the larger setup. I was suddenly given the opportunity to travel for a week and knew I would have a couple of days stuck in my hotel room with little to do. So I thought I would take the controller with, but obviously wanted to protect it. Yeah it's a low-cost controller, but I would still rather spend a little money to protect it rather than have to buy another one if it breaks. The case is the ideal solution and it's so perfect. Nice and durable so I know it's not going to potentially get damaged even while sitting in my suitcase full of clothing. I like the little zip pouch where I could put some earbuds and the USB controller. The controller fits in there nice and snug so I don't have to worry about it moving around. Just a perfect fitting case and I'm sure it will do well on my trip.

I’ve travelled several times with this unit holding a Hercules Starlight and I’m very pleased. Many people who enjoy the controller when I DJ are excited that the case is an option. Great zip quality, great feel, excellent price and value. The little pocket is compromised but I can put a cable or two in if I place them carefully. A must-have for any Hercules controller owner..

This case kept my gear in excellent condition. In a home with 6 kids, this case earned it's keep! The mini DJ deck was well protected. I use it on several gigs and it help up like the professional hard cases I use for larger gear. Highly recommend.
