This bag is probably just right for one big lunch or two smaller lunches, depending on how long you need to keep the contents cold, and how cold you want them to be. The description recommended adding ice packs (not included) to keep the contents cool and that is indeed a good idea. The bag itself is surprisingly lightweight when empty, which is good because ice packs can add a lot of weight. Plus, I had hoped the bag would be thicker and a little more stiff. As for volume, the description said the bag would hold 20 colas, and one of the photos said a cola was 330mL, which is smaller than a typical US twelve ounce carbonated beverage can. In my photo, one can see how in mine, I was able to fit a dozen twelve-ounce (355mL) soda pop cans in and still have room to add ice packs. The shoulder strap is attached with plastic clips; I wouldn’t want to carry 20 twelve-ounce cans, plus ice packs, and hang it on my shoulder if it were me, but I’m also a weakling so you do you. This bag is a little small for carrying lunches for more than two people, so it may not be best for a family picnic. However, filled with cold drinks and ice packs, it could hold enough drinks for several people to have with them on a long road trip or a nature walk. As long as you account for some pit-stops after drinking all those liquids, of course.

Got this as a friend is having to move to another state soon, and needed something to keep stuff cool. It's a really good size, holds plenty of ice packs and will without question keep stuff cool for a decent time.

This cooler bag has a nice neutral look with a strap that extends to comfort size. The capacity is quite large, larger than a lunch box but not too large to bring to the beach or a picnic. It is a little thin so I tested it out putting a bag of ice in there with the standard lunch ice packs and it was still half frozen 5 hours later. Knocking a star off because it is a bit difficult to zipper, its not as smooth as others I have used and requires two hands to hold and zip.

What a handy cooler! It's compact, lined to keep things hot or cold, and collapsable. You can just fold it when you're not using it. It's lightweight and has a sturdy handle. If you're planning to use it for canned drinks, it's going to be really heavy with no support. It's also going to collapse in the middle when there are fewer things inside, so if you have anything else in there, everything will likely be crushed. That's the problem with all soft sided coolers though. I wouldn't use it for heavy items or canned items, but if you have something like a casserole or dessert, this is the bomb.

This is a really big little cooler. It is larger than your normal one-person taking lunch cooler. I got this cooler to carry drinks for me on pool-party nights, and for my kids on a sports event weekend. Works great for both! The extra space allows you to pack in a lot of drinks AND also have some room for cooler packs. Living in the south one cooler pack on the side is not enough if you're planning to be outside for more than hour or two. The cooler is not quite tall enough to pack in a 20oz bottle standing up. But it will hold plenty of 12 oz. cans with space at the sides and top to layer in some cooler packs. There has been some light "sweat" from the cooler packs and it did not leak to the outside. I can't speak to the waterproofness or ability to go with ice inside. For ice, I default back to hard sided coolers. This bag is a great addition if you feel like your soft side lunch bag is just not quite big enough.

I got this for my son to use when he is doing rides with friends. It can fit (if not stuffed with too much) on his cycle seat so he asked me to get it for him for that use. So far he hasn’t gone riding with it but did put it in his seat compartment and it did fit, good for a few cold drinks for the road. The zipper sticks a little but I think with use that will loosen up.
