This was a great purchase, it is just like new and does everything I’d need at a much lower price than a new watch. There aren’t any scratches, it charged up immediately, and works all day (have worn for several weeks now.) It looks great and I’d definitely buy it again.

Works and looks great! It’s only been a couple days so I can come back with an update. So far, the update happened fairly fast since it needed a whole program (which is good, it was refurbished). The glass and back look nice, there was a tiny scratch but it’s not noticeable from glancing at it. It does have ability to connect to cellular but I don’t need it connected so I can’t say anything on that. I previously had a Garmin but switched over. 1) wanted to have Spotify & this Apple Watch downloads the playlists faster and easier than the Garmin I had. 2) I loved the SOS feature on Garmin & I’m glad don’t need the cellular connection on Apple Watch for that to be sent out if I need it (I run) 3) I’ve read about updates on running details the Apple Watch now has from Runners World and I felt good about switching. 4) for all the features it has, the screen, and what I will use, the price was better. ... show more

I first ordered the SE gen 2 and it wouldn’t update I kept getting the “no internet connection” on my iPhone, made a couple of calls for tech support and was basically told there wasn’t a solution and to return the watch. I then ordered the series 7 refurbished, the watch was perfect no scratches 100% battery excellent. It updated no problem. I didn’t like the fact that it came with a non branded box and charger. Also didn’t like the fact that it was all scuffed up, at least for the price I paid for it! Only good things to say re: seller and condition of watch! Bought for elderly mother to help if she falls mainly and I've been wearing it to learn before handing it over. Haven't tried fall feature yet, will update. I am less than thrilled with Apple's design of the product and accuracy of sleep monitor and tracking workouts. My comparison is to an older Fitbit. Apple shouldn't require that sleep monitor is tied into sleep schedule and alarm. Won't track naps or if you don't sleep when scheduled. If you turn off schedule, won't give REM, Deep, etc. details, just time asleep, if that. Also, doesn't automatically track when I'm walking/running for workout outdoors, can understand if it takes a few minutes to realize, but it seems not to register that I've been walking for 20 minutes, which by that time I don't see the point of tracking it. You can manually start tracking workout, but seems like Fitbit did this better. Logs steps and miles fine if that's all you need though. It reminds me of one of those baby chicken computers that kids got to have them get a sense of minding a real baby, have to constantly input things for it to work. Also, it seems to interfere with my phone ringing or alerting me to calls or texts, vibrating on my wrist if I'm lucky, or if I'm sleeping, not so lucky. Fitbit, though obviously did many fewer things, just logged stuff. The watch, while it's cool it monitors oxygen saturation, the software gives ranges that don't explain much. Maybe the paid version does better? Also, when I wear a headset to listen to music via watch, doesn't work. Headset during calls doesn't work and believe it's supposed to. Has to be charged pretty much daily. Constantly vibrating to stand, record thoughts, etc. I mean I can probably set it otherwise, but again, feels like I'm minding a computer baby. Sometimes the band that came with it and watch itself causes a rash. Good ideas, bad execution. For the problems, not sure if I would get one for myself. For my Mom, will just set up the basics. May meet your needs though, just my opinion. ... show more

Update to my prior review. The replacement I received is soooo much better. It had no green snake this time and the metal “casing” is in much better condition. Aside from the issue with the first watch, the company made this whole thing very smooth and I am very happy with the replacement watch. Right out of the box I was very disappointed with this watch. I ordered the “excellent” version hoping the co diction of the watch would be decent, but what I got was terrible. Every side of the watch felt like someone used sandpaper on it and the colour was completely gone. It’s almost like this watch was at the bottom of a river for a long time. Not only was the condition of the watch bad, it also had the “green snake” for charging and never turned on. I requested a replacement so hopefully that turns out better.
