Once I received The product it did not work, I sent it back and was sent another one and that one didn’t work either. Then they said it would take 30 days to receive a refund after the product is returned, it was 2 products and when the second product was supposed to be sent they said it was damaged and had to be sent back to the sender. I had purchased a similar unit to this one maybe last year to stream iphone to TV. It has started to have issue with connectivity. Just purchased this unit to replace and it did not work out of the box.

I was unable to connect my iPhone to my TV. The adapter required a 6 digit code from the TV and my TV only gave me a 5 digit code. I don't know if the problem was me or the adapter but better instructions might have helped.

    • Does what it says with some limitations, read the fine print.
Thanks to the iOS 16 update some Apps using HDMI outputs like Netflix, Hulu, etc just will not work this isn't limited to the non-Apple outputs like this but also the official Apple product. So if you missed the fine print I've repeated it here as well as the reason. Now why didn't I love this product? Well it does work and doesn't work... TV got an image from my iPad at 1080p 60mhz ... check Image is oversized and shifted, no amount of TV adjustments could correct ... fail Turned on 'Match Content' option in iOS signal was still 1080p 60mhz while content was 4k 30mhz ... fail So if you want a cheap device to put your device up on a screen for say displaying your Candy Crush score in 1080p go for it. If you intend to use it to stream media from your Apple devices then prepare for some inconsistent displays and unsupported features. ... show more

I know now why they are so cheap, because they don’t work as they are supposed to. I bought 2 because of the price thinking that at least one would work right but that’s what I get for thinking. So Don’t waste your money, spend some and get the good ones that work

    • Audio Issues
The video quality is fine when connected, but sometimes it disconnects. The audio also sounds like it’s doubled and sounds like the voices in the audio is drowning.
