These work for connecting some Motorola portables with SMA antennas (e.g., the XTS line) to an outside antenna with a standard UHF connector. The first one came apart within a week. Glad it came with two! Second one is working well. I'd recommend electrical taping the connectors to the wire for added support. Second one is holding up better
