I bought this as my charging port was not working, and I needed an alternative. I am so glad that I bought the longer cord - worth the extra money as it is long enough to plug in anywhere and still reach my phone. I have had other brands before and they never last long and its hard to get them on the right spot to charge but no issues at all with this. It charges the Air Pods too, which I did not think about when purchasing but has been super handy. It charges slower than a charger that goes into the port, but it gets the job done and I like the versatility and quality of the charger. Works great. This is the first time I’ve used a MagSafe charger rather than plugging my phone in every night. It seems to charge the phone very well and I don’t notice any heat coming off of it. It sure beats finding a plug and plugging it in every night. The magnet is very strong and you need to slide the unit sideways off the phone as it’s a bit difficult to pull off. Exact quality you'd expect from Apple. It does get very hot. I think we kind of expect that from Apple chargers now though. It fits perfectly in my car where I needed it to. Charging speed is slow but again, that's just Apple. It is durable though, were in a pretty hot climate and like I said, it gets very hot and it hasn't malfunctioned at all.
