Despite the reviews of those who received faulty MacBooks, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the computer looked brand new. There were little to no marks on the outer shell, the screen looked as if it had never been touched before, and the keyboard was spotless. Although, the box came with no official apple packaging and the charger was third-party, the solid drive was wiped clean and the physical aspects were flawless. I ordered a late 2019 model. the shipping took 3 extra days than originally said. When I received it, the screen was bugged, there were giant scratches on the back, the keyboard had more than normal wear and tear, the charger caused the computer to over heat, as well as the fans did not work correctly, and the model was a early 2016 model? Needless to say, I was not happy with this purchase at all. Please red the reviews before you buy from this seller. They do not inspect their products before delivery and i would hate for someone to go through the same experience I did. ... show more

I have been a bit skeptical about buying a refurb Mac (not from Apple) and I have to say, looking good so far. The computer arrived in actual MacBook Pro box, wrapped in bubble wrap inside a shipping box. It came a day early as well. Turns out and seems to have no issue so far. My only complaint is, it wasn't super clean or anything. I did give it a quick wipe down and all is well. I did take the extended warranty through Amazon, so that helped me put my mind at ease. Technically it's an ok purchase. It worked out the box. Came with a charger that only charge once then it didn't work again. The letter "D" is faulty and doesn't work when typing normally. I have to press it a few times to get it to work. Not much wrong with actually body. Some of the keys seem to act as if they are being long pressed when pressed normal, and they rapidly repeat the character. Charge last about 2 hours if being used constantly. I originally got it to save money and maximize storage and RAM. But I'm going to return it and more than likely get the Air with M1chip and 512G storage.
