I was excited to finally get a Mac but this one is very slow, terrible battery life, it came with a charger but the chord broke and its barely charging now. The touchpad is a little broken but it works fine. The computer overheats a lot too which can be annoying. i got this refurbished MacBook in feburary and I wanted to wait a while before making this review. For a refurbished acceptable MacBook that was $299 this is definitely worth the price and and is pretty good. The MacBook they gave me was a 2016 version. A little old but it still runs completely fine! Just know if u play games like Roblox or sims the macbook will heat up pretty quickly and lose battery pretty fast. Overall I think this MacBook was very good for the price and worth it! I would definitely recommend this for schoolwork, or editing. ... show more

What can I say about what I hate about this macbook? How about EVERYTHING. The keys are too shallow so half the time they don't type or type all together without spaces. I have to retype constantly and I never do with any other mac or computer I have ever used. The thing shuts off intermittently. The battery life is the worst I have ever had. This pile of junk is a complete waste of money. Instead of buying this garbage maybe set a pile of money on fire. It's far less aggravating. ... show more

When you hear the word "renewed" many think of previously owned objects with scratches, dents, and dirt. Despite the reviews of those who received faulty MacBooks, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the computer looked brand new. There were little to no marks on the outer shell, the screen looked as if it had never been touched before, and the keyboard was spotless. Although, the box came with no official apple packaging and the charger was third-party, the solid drive was wiped clean and the physical aspects were flawless.
