Battery is flat and does not hold longer than 30 minutes. NO solution offered, they just replied with a computer generated message and after that went silent. Never replied again. Buying a new battery now costs me 30% of the MacBook Pro price. I could have gotten a new computer instead for the same cost. Would very much not trust them! ... show more

I bought this MacBook in order to run my estimates on because I am a general contractor and was tired of doing it on an iPad. I spent all of this money on a MacBook Pro which I was leery about because they did not list the date and it will not download any of my software because I cannot update past a certain point because I bought a damn six year old laptop that they didn’t mention that was built in 2017. When playing video games and watching movies the computer gets real hot and the fan gets real loud,so I recommend to get something above a 2020 computer and hopefully apple has fixed that problem.

Everything works as it should but I had checked the model number and it turns out this laptop is 8 years old (2015), which is ancient in terms of computer hardware. I just wish this was disclosed somewhere in the listing with perhaps a model number or serial number you can use to verify the age.

For me the laptop works pretty fast for what I do and has plenty of space also ! But the battery does die pretty fast and my screen will kind of glitch sometimes but it’s not bad but noticeable when it happens

Opened up the box and the battery needed to be replaced. The battery repair isn’t covered and this made it very difficult to get my work done on time.
