    • Great Laptop that looks new
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this laptop and it looked new for being a 9 year old laptop. The battery only showed 1 cycle so it was just replaced and it came with a brand new OEM power supply. The only thing I didn't like was that it came with OS Catalina, which I am not a fan of so I had to reformat the HD and re-install OS Mojave. So far i've had no issues and it works great and was 1/2 the price of a new laptop with a bonus of having an HDMI port, standard USB ports and has a magnetic power cord. ... show more

At first glance the MacBook seemed to be in pretty good condition (no where near the like new guidelines set forth by the Amazon Renewed program), but after further I found the screen to have the de-lamination issue, the battery was only at 67% of capacity when fully charged and the trackpad had a portion that didn’t function as designed. The bottom was heavily scratched and the rubber feet seemed to have been replaced (but poorly installed). I gave them the benefit of the doubt and sent it back for repair. I just received the laptop today and it looks to be in the same condition. The third party charger gets really hot to the touch and the trackpad is still not functioning normally. Time wasted but a lesson learned. ... show more
